Simple, i dont agree with what you said. You said he was head and shoulders above anything else on the park that day. That is the biggest over reaction to a performance iv ever seen in my life. Iv never ridiculed you , iv disagreed with you but never ridiculed you.

Know hee haw about football or a spoilt brat from the 2000's?? What kind of statement is that ?? Iv been in involved in football all my life and have forgot more about football than you will ever know judging by your posts on here and started going to watch Celtic regularly in the very early 90's during some very dark days. I'll support Celtic no matter who we have in our team and no matter how bad we get. Thats not a choice , thats just being a fan and loving my club but does that mean i cant come on a forum and give my opinion on certain players?? Then need to listen to people like yourself calling me a troll because i have a different opinion to yourself?? Its a * joke !

Seems like you've forgot more about football than quite a lot of people on here going by the posts...

He is 19, not 16 or 17. Forrest was thrown into the team at 17. If he is such a massive talent why has he been nowhere near getting a regular game for us??

As for the opponents, it was a friendly.

I fear that someone could sit in the middle of a park taking a * for 90 mins and as long as they were wearing a Celtic top you would say they had a great game. Your blinded when watching your own team and are just the typical average football fan who sees a totally different game when watching his own team.

Don't make me trawl through my posts to show me criticising the players or the team after a bad game because I've already done it before and I'm no doing it agian.

In fact, go check yourself you lazy ingrate and stop trying to paint me as something I'm not.

Anyhoo.........glad to see wee Dylan back - hopefully he will add that wee bit of spark still missing from the midfield.

Thats the problem with coming into a discussion midway through. My opinion on McGeouch is that he has some potential but hasnt shown much besides his solo goal when given his chance for us. Right or wrong thats my opinion.

Sean stated he thought he had a great game against Madrid, Ran rings round them for the whole game, was head and shoulders above anything else on the park and was man of the match in that game. Thats how the discussion about that game has come up. Needless to say i thought that was absurd and that is how we have ended up where we are now. I didnt think he had a bad game but i didnt think he done anything spectacular at all in a game which was a friendly after all.

Im not obsessed with him at all. Just had a discussion about him in a certain game where opinions have differed. What team he or Forrest supported means absolutly * all to me so why you have brought that up baffles me. I would seriously doubt any Madrid fans would want to sign him but again maybe thats just me.

Im neither a Rangers fan or a jealous wee guy , again statements like that just baffle me and make yourself seem stupid.

Now he is a legend also?? And again just because he is a Celtic fan means nothing. I will judge him on what i see, who he supports has absolutly nothing to do with anything.

You dont need to prove anything to me. Already done it before so im not the first to suggest this?? Why would i want to check?? Im not painting you as anything, just giving my opinion. As for calling me a lazy ingrate???? Get a grip of yourself

So you agree he wasnt man of the match ?? Do you think he ran rings round them for the most of the game?? Do you think he was head and shoulders above anything else on the park that day?? Just answer honestly because these are the statements which started this whole conversation.

I was trying to find my first post in this thread to shut mfisher up and went back a lot further than I had to.

interesting though because I came across these posts about the match at the time.

then my first post in this thread at the end.

Wow ! Think you have taken this a bit far now?? Do you even remember how we ended up where we are?? You said he had a great game, i disagreed. Right or wrong that was my opinion. You then went on to say he was man of the match, ran rings around them for most of the game and was head and shoulders above anything else on the park. That was absurd ! No matter what you show me , them statements you made were absurd. Pure and simple
