Browns critics have very good reasons but credit to him today.

10 in a row! Emilio on the pitch, Clean sheet and Rogne's fantastic record improving.

We have alot of improvement to come aswell I hope; it all bodes well. I just wish in attack we moved it faster from back to front (on the deck) and in defence we weren't so lax in allowing opposing midfields to run into space as we fall back.

And I know it's hard to move it quickly from back to front against defensive teams, but we should be doing it alot better.

I think most people saw your 1st post, just could not be arsed replying to it.

Yes Stokes waded in,but that is what good strikers do.

Overall very welcome 3 points. Some excellent football and great goals. Thought we switched off a little in the second half but never looked like losing control of the game.

Midfield controlled everything from start to finish and of course it was great to see Izzy back in the Hoops once again.

MOTM for me would go to big Vic. He never stopped running, chasing and tackling all day.

Well, I don't think anyone could accuse me of cutting Scott Brown excessive slack. :icon_mrgreen:

But I said before the match that if there was any game I would pick him for, it would be a game against the bottom-of-the-table team, immediately after beating Rangers.

Day like that, effort and enthusiasm is everything - and he provided that this afternoon.

So... now he's actually had a decent game... let's punt him. :56:

Can't believe stokes (who should have known he was clearly 2 yards offside) took that away from izzy:31:

I don't get all the Brown slagging. He may not be the best player we have but he played well today and is still taking pelters. At least have the deceny to recognise when players play well.

Brown will always do well in these types of games. Run of the mill SPL opposition, * and small pitch with no space in the middle of the park is perfect for someone that like to graft for the ball.

Anyway, good result from a potential banana skin - historically a difficult game coming away from a hunslaying. Good to see Mulgrew continue to both assist and score as well as form a potential longer term partnership with Rogne (who himself was solid again). Also good to see Emilio back, our team will be instantly be better with him in it.

i thought Brown had a very good game.

some wanted Ki to start ahead of him. think he showed why he was picked. not the best game on the eyes but 3-0 and 3 points.

never really got out of second gear. disappointed not to see Bangura come on for Hooper. great to see Izaguirre back.

Forster was asked one question and answered superbly. Mulgrew and Rogne walked it. Ledley carried on his record of never having a bad game for us. Matthew's balls down the line where pin-point accurate.

Forrest and Samaras were posted missing. expected to see one if not both subbed.

Wanyama and Brown bossed the midfield. Wanyama is the strongest player to don the hoops since Bobo. Brown had great drive and his passing was great.

Hooper was invisible. Stokes scored a screamer.

never really had to try at all in that match and i hope it doesn't give to complacency. MOTM - Brown.

    Charlie Mulgrew MOTM for me.

Scored one and set one up with a beautiful ball for Wanyama.

Not bad for a centre back. :50:

Todays game was all about ensuring 3 points after the Rankers game. That we did. Always in control, infact we looked like we could step it up if we needed to. We lacked a bit going forward today but thats only a slight negative. Defence to midfield in total control, just found it a bit tight to break through their 5 man back line at times. But we were playing a team that is fighting for survival at the bottom of the table not a team sitting in third that know they have reached their peak with a manager that has aspirations to manage his opponents today !!.Anyway, Broony was my MOTM today.
