Commons had 3 chances he should have scored at least 2 (as people always seem to slate Johansen for). Commons looked very uninterested 2nd half. Played the ball away a few times and wasn't really involved. Rogic, Janko and quite a few others played a better game.

Yeah commons had chances, ill give him some slack cause he's not had a pre season or a full 90 for a few months.
Stokes has been playing games with the youth team.

Our second-string side beat them 3-1. Don't think we can be too unhappy about that, really. With more time to gel, they'd probably storm the league. Pretty much confirms what we already know about Celtic at the moment, though: awkward defensively (looking at you, Ambrose), pass too much in midfield, and not always clinical enough in front of goal.

Fair play to the United 'keeper, though. He had some good saves.

Bailly was all right, apart from that horrible touch. :31:

9 changes and we pretty much pumped them, not too shabby

To be fair to Commons, the goalie made some good saves.

Aye, their keeper played a blinder. That one off the line as well was superb from their defender.

Can't be denied, we are scoring goals for fun at the moment, dominating play in the attacking half, imagine we had a top quality striker to finish off all the chances we are creating. Can't get my head round how we are shipping so many goals either. As long as we score more than them I can't complain

Good 3 points considering the changes we made.

United really are a poor side, nowadays. Wonder why that is :fear:

You seem very defensive of Johansen mate. Think he's one of our most popular players when on form...

I thought Commons was pish, can't believe he got MOTM.

It's all well and good getting into good positions to score but he couldn't finish any of his chances. Should have scored.

To be honest, he didn't make any saves you wouldn't expect a half decent 'keeper to make.

Pretty sad they "lost" all their good players except for maybe Dow and Erskine.
Their former goalkeeper cierzniak was also pretty good I think he moved to a Polish team now.

Well...I just think he gets a lot of unfair critisism in here almost every game. Someone has to stick up for him, hehe :86::50:

Managed to catch 20mins of the 1st half, United hardly made it across the halfway line. Take it the game carried on in the same vain??? Good result considering the number of changes we made as well.

    Now for Tuesday.

Honestly, that was a pretty fun one to watch. Great to see some of the fringe players come on and do very well, albeit, against a bad DU side.

Wow what a treat that was. While the second half was no where near as good as the first half we were more then full value for the 3-1 win and wow other then only being a goal in front that first hlaf really was excellent and flat out great fun to watch. Excellent performances from Janko and O'Connell at the back who both were very good on the ball. Another quality performance from Rogic in midfield as well. All in all a great game to watch and excellent performance especially considering how many changes we had to the line up.
