Yep, thats why i get annoyed when people say crosas should be in the team, he adds nothing whatsoever, hes frustrating and hes also slow as *. Were crying out for an intimidating, powerfull center mid who can put his foot on the ball and make killer passes and also defend, basically a stillian petrov of old :p

Crosas isn't a defensive midfielder like say the classic Makelele that goes around kicking things, winning balls and playing the simple backwards pass.

He's more a defensive midfielder like Alonso or Pirlo who while not being the best in defence, take the ball in a deep (defensive) position, and use their brain to take the pressure off the team via an intelligent pass. I.e. control the flow and direction of the game. Another aspect in such a players locker is the eye for a killer pass which admittedly we've yet to see properly from Crosas.

It's kind of beind an indirect defensive player in that they are reading the game and making sure the ball is either in a safe part of the field or converting to an attacking part of the field.

When he has played this is what I've noticed. When he gets the ball he seems to instinctively know who is free. His touch so far has been good, and we seem to be able to keep the ball more with him in midfield. Isn't that being a good defensive midfielder? I mean if you have/keep the ball it is impossible for the opposition to damage you!

Due to the current form we are in and i hope i will be proved wrong come sunday
but we will be lucky to come away with a point here.
the hard games of lately, we needed to stand up and be counted and this has not happened
lets face it if we were in great shape it would be hard at tanadice as it is
but we poor at the minute and this will make it twice as hard

does not matter who plays on sunday ..its best we get down on our knees and pray
    for 3 points

a very dodgy game for us, we'll need to be on top of our game to get a win; tbh a draw wouldnt be a disaster; probably be a couple goals so i'll optimistically plump for a 3-2 celtic win; must be able to get some fairly good odds on that!

my only worry bout sunday is the weather....mcAnus is suspended (= cloud = silver lining.) we have the other mc's, court, ginn, geady, donald. i only hope that the odea loan was to keep him a hoops player playing regularily, albeit for someone else, till he can replace mcanus. caddis too should figure on sun. i'll be there regardless hail, hail

    Zaluska

    Hinkel Caldwell Zheng Fox

    McGinn Crosas Robson McGeady

    McDonald Fortune

I would start with McDonald upfront with Fortune as they prved at the start of the season when we were scoring goals that they had a good partnership

I think it will be dodgy if we play thompson , but with the current injuries we might have to , i would prefer to see zheng there because of experience , the jury is still out in my opinion for fortune but i don't like criticising professional players , Hartson took 11 games before his 1st goal so i will preserve me judgement for a while.

dont laugh but i think robson could play centre half and he would fit in nicely next to danny fox being left sided.
I wouldnt have a problem playing him there

I'm * bricks. I have a lot of respect for Craig Leven. We need to start turning this season around starting with the DUFC game. I want to see 110% from every Celtic player on the pitch.

    Hinkel Caldwell(c) Thompson Fox

    McGeady Crosas N'Guemo Robson

    Fortune McDonald

    Subs:Cervi(GK), Wilson, Caddis, McGinn, McCourt,
    Zheng & Samaras

If Loovens is fit, then he will be in ahead of Josh Thompson & Mark Wilson wil proberly drop out the squad. Big Sammy, is tired & has a cold, according to the Celtic website, So he will prob start on the bench, cos no doubt the Coaches have been working with Fortune & McDonald all week..

I would go with Crosas, N'Guemo & Robson in the middle for extra protection, Cos United are really good at the quick break, & Crosas passing abilty will help us aswel..
