Spot on. The sort of fans who never go to a normal league game but when it comes to a big Champions League or Old Firm match they're 'choking for a ticket' and thus sometimes deprive a guy who goes to most matches who deserves it far more. Hate that.

I hate all this 'I heard a rumour thing'. Glasgow is terrible for it. I'm not going to discredit your source or say that it's wrong but what I will say is this......some 'rumours' are just started up by ordinary joes who have an agenda against someone and in this case the agenda would be 'Get Mowbray Out'. I don't buy it and I hope that whatever rumours you have heard are not true.

I like Tony Mowbray and I think if folk would just back off a bit and give him time to get some more players in and mould the team into his own style then things will get better. He hasn't failed at any of the clubs he's been at so far and he has a proven track record of getting his teams to play exciting football. I believe he can do it for us too. Some people had their mind made up that he was going to fail before he started, some want to discredit him because he doesn't jump up and down like a loony on the touchline and some want him sacked after only 3-4 months in the job. All absolute lunacy in my opinion. He has made a few mistakes with team selections and substitutions I would say but all managers do from time to time.

I really hope Mogga can get 2,3 or even 4 players in come January and that should begin to bring about change. If Mowbray is given time he will turn this around and it will be fun reading all the grovelling and backtracking from some people on here when he does.

the fact united fans were singing were gonny win the league shows they fancy their chances against the huns and us.we are the only team with any money in scotland so we should be * this league but instead were a * shambles.how long do we wait?.looking at it its not gonny get better so we realise a mistake has been made and the manager gets replaced.i so want the big man to succeed but we cant let this huns team win the league this year that would not only be humiliating but a fucken disgrace considering the state their in.we need someone like a roy hodgson to steady the ship and get the best out of the players we have bcoz in my oppinion we have the players to win this league by miles.

I don't think we do. I'd say our squad is marginally better than Rangers squad but there isn't much of a gap in quality to be honest. The fact that the league has been decided on the final day of the season in the last 2 seasons tells you there is not much difference in quality between the big two at the moment.

What a shambles yet again, game won with ten minutes left on the clock. Two corner kicks and our defence get's nailed by Jon Daly and Darren Dodds, were the * are our defenders ?

Both Fox and Hinkel are taller than Grosas, M'Geumo,so they should be markers, not standing on the * goal line, leave that for the wee guys. Samaras is just a great big pansy, no physical presence at all, while Caldwell and Loovens get pushed all over the place by Dundee United players, time to sort this out Mowbray !!!

We've spent a fortune on a new training complex, but what the * do they do there all week. They can't pass a ball, make defensive tackles, defend corners because we still zone mark, so what benefit do we get from Lennoxtown ???

I am absolutely sick after watching yet another below par performance by far too many Celtic players, I would only give the goalie, N'guemo and Mc Geady pass marks, the rest were rubbish. :31: :31: :31:

Another bad result, its becoming normal !!!
TM has to take some of the blame for the way the team is going, BUT the ultimate blame is in the hands of the wonderful board. They never backed the new manager in the summer, will they back TM in January ? Well they never backed the old boss last summer or last January so im not holding my breath with this board.

The fact of the matter is - the huns were in collapse earlier in the season, celtic should have went on a run of form that would have kept the huns in the doldrums, it didnt happen. This imo was down to the board not giving TM serious money to bring in badly needed players.

Now we are behind the huns in the SPL, we could go further behind if they win their game in hand at tannadice. Its looking grim.

And dont anyone say "keep the faith" thats the sort of pish the board depend on.

We did that last season and look what happened........

investment in january is not the answer if the money spent does not improve the team ( this is my biggest worry )
TM's signings have not improved the team so far , so why let him possibly waste more money we can ill afford.
WGS spent 30 million plus and left us with an average playing squad.
I believe there is money but the board are begining to fear TM will waste as much as GS given the chance.

Defenders that cant defend , midfield with no engine and strikers that could not score in a brothel , Is it not time to put the whole squad up for sale to show theese overpaid primas that none of them are bigger than the club ? I doubt if there would be too many offers for most of the squad .

i said the exact same thing when he was linked with the job - he is , by nature, a loser. done a poor job wherever he has been - anyone could get promoted out of that championship with West Brom , they will get promoted this year. mowbray has small ideas and was NEVER the man for us. he is simply miles behind strachan , people forget the players strachan brought in and how effective they were . boruc naka skippy ( who he got the best out of unlinke TM , draining his confidence) . he also bought big jan and zurawski who weighed in with 40 - 50 goals in their first seasons. mowbray has brought in the biggest 4 million pound donkey in fortune quite simply a horrific football player our very own sebo, slow, clumsy, low work rate and terrible first touch and cant finish. mowbray needs to go.

Woeful school boy marking for their goals and zero scoring threat. It's not looking good. :54:

I agree with this... I would be scared to give Mowbray a loan of a fiver.

I don't see him here for the long term and I worry we could lose a couple of good players because Mowbray doesn't fancy them. :shamrock:

forget about bilic ffs we aint gonna pay the money even if he wanted to come here

to me it was a bit strange paying 2 mil + for a manager, that is hardly experienced or well known

but we are where we are !!!

there were some positives in the game for me today, although the result wasn't one of them.

mcgeady played well first half anyway, i thought crosas and nguemo were decent, robson piece of skill got us the penalty and the goal, we dominated the first half and had lots of oportunities to do something at least 2 balls flashed in front of dundee utd goal, one skippy misskicked and the other i dont know how he never tapped it in he was offside though.

all the the talk about fortune is out of order, how many games has he played for us between 8 and 10, * he's just back after a good while out with an injury and he's playing in the helter skelter scottish league, the guys being picked on from day 1

its the defence thats the big problem we need central defenders and have done for a good while.

strachans strength as a manager was that he was also very good at coaching players and thats where we are struggling, the defence doesn't know how to defend and the strikers dont know how to score goals.

who is coaching the first team ??? when i see tony mowbray he's in a suit and looks detached from the players i take it he's not coaching them ?

2 terrible goals to give away no excuse at all for losing this game! thought we controled most of the game zaluska, hinkel, fox, crosas, nguemo, mcgeady, robson, mcdonald and sammy i thoought all played good, i thought mcginn shouldve came on for robson and sammy should have started instead of the 3.8m shambles

Too many of our fans hounded Strachan out. He should have been judged on his trophyhaul and not on his bygone playing days. If we all had got behind the man and sang his name we wouldnt be in this mess so fans must shoulder some responsibility.
