This... * me guys not great dont get me wrong but hes not the worst wev had, and as for the Zenit first goal our defence is to blame for the goal not him, if hed of tried holding it and let it slip from his hands * would of wanted his head on a spike, he played it safe.

We need a new keeper and could probably do with this chap leaving and have Gordon as No2 although i cant see him being happy, however we have another 12+ games yet and it probable this guy is gonna be in net for the vast majority whether people like that or not, so if he is lets get behind the big *

 

Im sure hes a better keeper than dvries

 

Stats don’t tell everything. What if 35 of those 4 shots were nigh on impossible to save? You need some context.

He’s not good enough and I don’t feel confident with him in goals, but he’s still not as bad as many are making out. Saved us from a bit of a doing at Kilmarnock only a few weeks back.

 

True but the thing is, many of us knew his shots to concede ratio would be quite high as he's garbage and has let in plenty or directly been involved in the lead ups to set pieces etc because of his weak handling like the first on Thursday..

The stats are up because let's be honest, everyone knew he was * poor and although they can be misleading....on this occasion I don't think they are at all..

 

Aye don’t get me wrong mate, he’s conceded a few goals that he definitely should have done better for - the 2nd goal the other night was pathetic.

Remember him being dodgy against us for Dunfermline a few times aswell. Conceded a soft goal to Kenny Miller at Celtic Park, then questionable positioning for Perrier-Doumbe's winner in the Cup Final.

This is pish. You clearly rate him higher than most on here but he’s * garbage, a * awful goalkeeper.

He got away with a howler against Killie as well when he failed to catch a * poor effort and dropped it to one of their players in the 6 yard box.

 

He deserved his chance and didn't take it. Not good enough. He's not the worst GK I've seen at Celtic, though. No way.

I'd maybe put him on a par with Zaluska: worse than Rab Douglas but better than Gordon Marshall or Jonathan Gould.

 

Id even say hes worse than that lot.

 

Got it in one. "He deserved his chance but didn't take it". Brendan was very quick last season to bench or drop players who were underperforming, let's bin him Bren. and gie Scotty his chance.
