Some can't handle that he has inconsistency in his career rather than agreeing they have done everything to dismiss it like it can never happen again while in posts used profanity clearly highlighting them being hurt and emotional.

But aye its an ad hominem

It'd be good if those inconsistencies were true. He played in a poor Dunfermline side, but his personal performance was good and it earned him a move down south.

There is only so much a goalkeeper can do.

Hurt or emotional naw, just stating a fact. You are highly condescending. Quite hilarious :56:

If he is good enough to be signed by Jim Leishman then he is good enough for us. No questions about it.

I would always trust Leishmans eye for a good player.

I'm with Monaghan and Zander on this one, Minimalists perpetuated utilization of certain phrases and perpetually reiterating himself has me very perplexed. I withal cerebrate his points about consistency are a little of given De Vries ostensibly has only had one deplorable season if you can call it that. Anyways this argument is growing tiresome and like many others I have had enough myself and feel like it is time to exit this discussion. I hope our incipient goalkeeper performs to the standard required in Europe which will avail us progress and get us back to where we should be. I believe vigorously in Brendan's judgement and I will put my full faith in this man. Brendan kens what he wants, he wants a goalkeeper with the attributes that suites his "11 outfield player" philosophy and is withal clam, assured and above all else reliable. I cerebrate coming in as Forrests player of the season verbally expresses a lot about this guy.

You're right by the way, since he was the Keeper (which is a part of the defense) he was just part of a poor side.

Dunfermline manager Stephen Kenny refused to blame de Vries for his team's relegation, stating: "We can attach absolutely no blame to him because he has been out of this world this season."

Their manager said he was out of this world.

It appears as though you fail to comprehend that it's a team game and the entire team is surely equipollently responsible for a poor defence? You can't just optically canvass stats and conclude from it that it was a deplorable season on his behalf and you can certainly not just optically canvass one isolated season and verbalize he's inconsistently erratic.

I wonder were Barcelona fans stressing about the season Henrik Larsson only scored 6 goals for Feyenoord in 1994 when they signed him.
