Well he was there player of year in championship amd there fans gutted to lose him as font think find gk ti replace him as good distribution and that's what rogers wants in his team and if read report when left Swansea he was gutted to lose him at the time. And 35 ain't to old for gk amd won't cost that much with figures spoken off so win win and might give our gks a kick up * need to improve and be stronger for a big guy our keeper don't half * out at crosses and * me of Mount of times lumps out

im not completely against this. brendan knows his attributes an he obviously wants a keeper that can start attacks in the way he needs them to, but ive seen a fee of 2m rumoured for him and if thats correct then its not looking like the best deal.

Looking a really good window for us. Sinclair, toure, ajer, de vries and Dembele with another 1 or possibly 2 to come in. De Vries is reliable and solid according to my forest supporting uncle.

Not convinced he's better than Gordon but if BR wants him and has worked with him before, then who am I to doubt?

Signing keepers always underwhelms me would have preferred an outfield player for our Champions league wild card signing, although still time yet suppose. In Brendan we trust.

Van Der Sar was 35 when he signed for Man United(not saying De Vries is as good), look how that turned out. Folk not learned about writing players off yet?

This is my take on it aswell mate :50:, and for what its worth i do think Gordon has been ropey for a while now, he just has had no real challenge to his position

    De Vries

    Good signing, happy with this.

Gordon's distribution is some of the worst I've seen and he is terrible at commanding his area. Got a pal that's a pars fan and says de vries was solid for them. Going by what Forrest fans are saying and the old quotes from Brendan being gutted to lose him at Swansea I think this is a good bit of business and expect him to go straight in for the number one spot once he's fit.

35 years old isn't an issue as it adds more much needed experience to the team.

    De vries

    Lustig. Erik. Kolo.

    Roberts. Brown. NEW CM. Sinclair

    Rogic
    Griffiths. Dembele

Bench: Gordon, simunovic, Tierney, McGregor, Forrest, ajer, cifcti.

Looking good, that's not even including the likes of janko, Henderson, izaguirre, Christie

Ronnie Simpson was almost 34 when Jock signed him. Brilliant for us.

Are you seriously trying to argue that he might not be good enough, because Johansen won POTY and lost form?

    * me.

Brilliant example. If only we had another 35 year old Rodgers signing who he'd previously worked with and obviously rated highly enough to re-sign to give us optimism that Rodgers is right...

    :fear:

As with Toure, if he's good enough for Rodgers, he's good enough for me! :shamrock:

He had 25 clean sheets for Swansea in their promotion to EPL season. That's nothing to scoff out. This signing is out of left field, but I'll for sure take it. Nottingham fans seems fairly gutted over it.

Is he costing us any money in a transfer fee?

In brendan we trust, we cant have Gordon thinking he's playing every game no matter how good or bad he played in his previous game. His distribution has been brutal recently

There's will be a fee of some sort. Forest wouldn't let one of their key players leave for nothing. Only a year left on his deal tho

Exactly what we need. Someone to give Gordon a kick up the *.

    Don't really mind that he's 35, that's not old for a keeper.
