    As I said I can only really recall him here for a season or two and the odd Notts game you see on tv

    I just think when your linked with vorm then see this guy stole in its a bit underwhelming

    Positives I can take are keepers are usually in there prime at this age the downfall is there is no sell on fee if he becomes a worldy

    He played for Dunfermline but it was 10 year ago nearly. As has been said Kasper Schmeichel and Tim Krul played for Falkirk but folk wouldn't reject them just because of 1 spell years ago. Doesn't matter.

    This guy might not be on the same level but he seems to be respected in England and most importantly by Rodgers. Long term I'd like a younger option to replace Gordon but if this guy suits the style Rodgers wants I'm not going to go on record and write him off yet.

    Seen some comments etc like pathetic * .... I'm in now way saying he is * i just think there must be younger and better out there to sign I really hope his puts a bullet up Gordon's * or he becomes number 1

    Notts fans are gutted to be losing him he looks like he can stop a good shot and he's ment to be really good with his feet crossing I'm not sure

    This is a head scratcher on the face of it, 36 in a few months.

    As others have said though, Rodgers wants him so that's good enough for now.

    He had a standout season last year and he's worked with him at Swansea. I'll be honest, I'm at that low an ebb with Gordon I really hope he does come in as the number 1.

    De Vries is a good keeper, player of the season at Forest last year and player of the month award 3 times. A player Rodgers knows very well, I have no doubt he is coming in as the number 1. A 2 year contract probably and a small fee as well so im more than happy.
