Hoping to attend a Dortmund match in February.
I've been told that the fixture (which is currently scheduled to play the weekend of the 19th of Feb) isn't announced till nearer the time. All they say is it plays the Fri, Sat or Sun. This is standard practice in Germany but I'm wondering when it will be announced so we can book the tickets.

It will depend on European fixtures. I am going to see Dortmund tomorrow and my German mate who arranged the tickets only confirmed the date about a month ago (don't know if he was just prudent).

I am planning on being in Düsseldorf for St. Patrick's weekend and taking in Dortmund's home game with Bremen and have a similar issue.
Sometimes TV fixtures are announced as little as a month before. The December batch of fixtures was only announced ten days ago so there's not a lot you can do bar book a three day stay if you need to book early. -
I emailed Dortmund direct and was told the game goes ahead on 11th February at 14.30.
Booked flights earlier :) Need tickets now but we should be cool for them.
