They get more practice defending. We should probably take one of our players off second half to get a similar level of practice. Maybe 2 actually.

We were beaten at our own game tonight.

Look, let's see the Huns get on in this campaign.. they'll be humbled.. they can't get inti to the CL so it's a non argument..

Young Boys, Brugge, RB and Dinamo will be our barometer..

The Huns don't even enter my thinking as peers.

On a positive note note this new format means that defeat isn’t defining - still got 3 points and a -2 goal difference - six more games none against Dortmund and hopefully CCV back and Hatate starting

    * ! i was viewing this as the acid test on where we are actually at and after a positive start to the season to be pumped like that is a real sickener .i dont know why i was expecting any different with recruitment the way it is ,what position has actually improved since we got horsed last year

Powderpuff. I have said it for years, McGregor can’t cope in the 6 role in Europe - completely out of his depth.

Been saying that we need some height and physicality in our team for the last few years - even more so in Europe. We still need a new LB, CM and a big srong box to box midfielder if we really want to co compete. Yes, we are good enough domestically but we are way off most European teams and will continue to do so until we get the afore mentioned players in

Really * poor. I didn't think we'd win but I at least thought we'd create some chances and look a threat throughout. At least when we were getting battered in Europe under ange we always looked a threat.

Time to start parking the bus on the road.

Home games so crucial for us. We will get spanked away - maybe a slight chance for us in Zagreb but will require a lot more balls than we shown tonight.

Need do the business against Young Boys, Brugge and perhaps try catch Leipzig cold on the night.

Saying that, we will get pumped in a qualifier anyway going off tonight's showing.

Agree with what your saying. I think our performances and start to the season inflated BR’s ego and made him think we could actually go toe to toe with a team like Dortmund. He talked of this being a test for us to see how far we’ve come and where we need to improve. Let’s hope the penny drops and he realises the areas HE needs to improve and maybe we’ll get there with six more games to go. The fact is we have a long way to go to becoming a team that’s hard to beat but it’s not outwith the realms of possibility to imagine we might become a better team for this defeat in the long run.

Well, this result is going to make for an interesting AGM especially if it happens again against Atalanta.

Ironic of him to be talking about not making mistakes and giving away soft chances when his most recent Celtic side in Europe got pumped 4-1 off Sparta Prague - twice!!

He’s a * commentator who bores me to death with his “I know better” attitude on our games.

    There’s a reason he’s commentating.
