our defence, midfield, and attack is not good enough for the spl or europe.

after watching the first 2 friendlies, it is clear jimmy bullard will improve our side (if fit), so if we can land this guy on a free we should be pulling out all the stops, within reason of course.

I agree he has been trying to get the most cash he can get, and ,mabe he would rather stay down south, but i bet you if he comes here he will * love it!!

would hartson, lennon or thompson of came here if they had similar offers down there? i dont think so!! so if he signs get behind him, if not stuff him its his loss.

    I believe direct quotes:

Tigers head of football operations Adam Pearson told BBC Radio Humberside that the problem had arisen because of the 31-year-old midfielder's wage demands.
"Jimmy wanted an incentive to go up to Celtic and that's his prerogative," said Pearson.
"But that incentive was too heavy for Celtic and I can understand that as the wages are heavy anyway."

    An incentive?

    * him, greedy *.

Our midfields bunged already, id rather we spent this money on a decent striker.
I wouldn't complain if we sign him but we have to stop changing our CM partnership every few months.

Yeah now he wants them to make up the rest, after we hunted his stupid initial demands, because no one else wants a 31 year old injury-prone championship player.

It's not jealousy, it's knowing a waster when I see one.

What do you think the 'incentive' was?

    Hookers? Chocolate?

Oh, and for those that think Pearson is a liar, Lenny backs him up:

"I spoke to Jimmy at the weekend but I think Adam Pearson has more or less covered most of things," Lennon said when asked if there was any hope of signing Bullard.

he's a right good player who honestly gives afuck much hes on if he comes does the business and we win the title so * thats all that matters to me!!

and for the record this whole 75k a week thing is made up by the press THERE IS NOT a single quote to any single person in the know regards the actual wage structure, sure he has asked for more money FROM HULL, NOT CELTIC but we have no honest idea how much that figure is/was move on!!

it was the same * when keano came last season, "oh hes on 65k a week and he didny score against the huns he should be able to play teams on his ain on that kinda money" * drivel!! money!!! pah!

is a gamble but i think its worthwhile as his a good player and its only a years contract so not that big a gamble. 2 or 3 yr contract would be diferent. i agree on mulgre. have always said he is hopeless and shoudnt be near our squad.
