He's not thinking hull or Celtic. It's a financial disagreement with hull that's holding back a move anywhere

uproot your family just for 9 months and take a wage cut in the process?? bullard played in the lower leagues all his career and even when he moved to fulham he was earning less than £10k a week. this is the 1st big contract he has ever signed and he has 3 yrs still to run on it. you cant blame him for wanting to protect his future as he hasnt earned the millions most football players his age have earned. thats why he moved to hull in the 1st place as they coudnt offer him a new deal on anything like that money. give the guy a break. hes just doing what we would all do in the same situation after all its hull who are desperate to get rid of him not him desperate to leave them.

we are not football players ! dont be jealous of what they earn. a footballer his age usually has millions in the bank. he doesnt ! if they want rid of him they will have to do it by his terms, and if they dont hes quite happy to stay were he is. i dont see any problem in that

Also, why do people think when a footballer retires, his income is DEAD? They tend to retire before the even hit middle age, plenty of time to get a job, AND Bullard clearly likes to be in the media, always being on Soccer AM, so he seems destined to take up that career after retirement from full-time play.

hmmm a 31 year old known as injury prone who has won 1 trophy? has the chance to join celtic STILL earning 45k a week and win a league title and possibly play in europe but decides he wants more supposedly 30k more a week to move but it's ok because his career ends earlier than most. I think that is a lack of ambition and just plain greedy. I'm an apprentice and he earns more than 5 times my annual salary in a week but it's deemed reasonable because they finish earlier than i do. Get a grip pal
