Thought we were going to have to suffer another season of him after that goal last night masking his woeful performance, anyone got any figures?

 

whats this balancing the books * i keep hearing, we arent in loads of debt like the huns.

and the CL money is a bonus not a gauranted income stream

its not as if we have been spending loads of money in the persuit of CL football

I'm glad he's away to be honest he wanted to much time on the ball.

Pretty strange, when you consider Mogga has picked him for just about every competitive game this season.

I wish Donati well- he finally showed he was a good player.

The situation reminds me of the Jarosik one-a player that was much maligned, but sold just as he was coming on to a game.

 

Don't think he wanted to be here, hopefully we got a fair sum for him.

I'd say Naylor will be following him out the door soon.

 

Makes you think then mate, he may have been told to play him all the time to put him in the shop window but if he plays that well he should have been kept. Aye thats a good point mate, JArosik was playing well at the time he was punted too

 

Sad to see him go, like Jarosik and Sno I always felt he was capable of more than we saw. Great way to go out though last night.

as pointed out we couldn't shift him last season so might as well sell before his form runs out. he's so been so iconsistent that it's unbelievable.

persnally i feel that crosas is a much better player and hopefully he'll get his chance to prove himself now

 

He was an ok squad player but still a bit of a lightweight. Glad to see him go and I wish him luck.

Now all Mogga needs to do is punt all our Defenders and most of our Midfielders and bring in his own style of quality players.

If selling Donati means we can cover the cost of N'Guemo then it's good business

I'd rather N'Guemo/Brown in midfield than Donati/Brown

Anno but we just lost out on the cl money we get near enough every year!!! it was obvious we were going to sell some *, anno were not in money troubles or that, unlike the hunns, lol am just saying if the correct figures are correct what am hearing/ 1.8 million and i also read he was on 30k a week at us, dont know if thats true right enough but if your counting his wages for a year it all adds up so it could be a good bit of buissness on our behalf

 

Im absolutely gutted at this news, Donati was my favourite player at Celtic. I dont understand how Mowbray can come out last week and say "Since ive arrived at the club Massimo's attitude and ability has been first class, he has been the best player at the club since my arrival", I think this move has * Lawwell (WGS Lovechild) written all over it!!!

Listen guys there was a suspicion that he was in the shop window and now tm has got a decent fee i hope for a player who was on his way out last season anyway and now I am sure the big guy wil have his own target in mind as he has already .

I think he was only playing so we could recoup as much as possible. If he has agreed a contract with them yet the deal has not gone through I would say that means that Big Pete is squeezing every penny possible out of Bari. I think we have enough midfielders. If there is 1 position where we have cover it has to be there
