    We have to look at Rodgers' first stint. He sought a GK good with the ball at his feet, but got a guy who couldn't really save shots- reverted to Gordon out of necessity. Since we'll have a busy keeper in Europe no matter what we do, I'd prefer someone who can save shots.

    But having a CB who doesn't fight for headers much (Nawrocki) would be very risky with Livaković.

    The game happened 2 days ago. I have no way of finding out why Fenerbahce backed away, but this might be one reason. I still think Livaković is unreal at shot stopping.

    Dinamo and Fenerbahce are unable to reach an agreement- the difference between them is about €1M, according to some Turkish sports site. They are also boasting how Livaković rejected a Saudi approach and wants to go to Fenerbahce badly.

    I call BS on that last bit. Livaković is a shy guy, almost a scaredy cat. He wouldn't throw toys out of the pram if his club blocked a move. Especially when CL can be reached with Dinamo, while Fenerbahce are stuck in Conference League. He may have agreed personal terms with Fenerbahce and/or Saudis, but in FM terms, I'd rate his personality as Very Loyal.

    Modrić had told him he's too scared of making mistakes, back in Russia 5 years ago. He's definitely stepped into the boots of the great Subašić and taken the No. 1. spot of the NT, but at heart, Dominik is a timid guy.

    It is weird that the deal hasn't been announced yet. Nearly 2 weeks since it was announced he was supposedly going there.

    We're probably out the running either way now tbh, but I'd love us to try and hijack the deal.
