    Honestly if that’s the case we should just sack him now. That’s a horrendous mentality for a CEO of a big enterprise. He’s obviously not up to the job.

    Day 1 he should be ousting Lawwell.

    For a guy who has never worked in football I assume will need shown some things, introduced to some contacts etc. I'm not nieve enough to think otherwise. However lawell shouldn't be making any big decisions such as manager etc. * maybe he's not, and the Australian rugby loving CEO is marching towards this manager.

    Yep, no more than 24 hours or so though. A few whirlwind meetings to make some introductions to key people.

    Any more than that and it’s a failure. Top people always come in and take charge right away.

    Don’t buy into the theory that his hands are tied until Lawwell officially retires.

    No CEO worth their salt would sit back and watch their soon-to-be predecessor make terrible decisions that is going to have a clear, negative impact on their ability to make the club successful going forward.

    If Lawwell is still actively involved in the rebuild then the whole rebuild project is tarnished. He’s shown time and time again that he cannot be trusted.

    He was brought in as part of a shake up and restructure so why the * would he need Lawwell to show him the ropes he's been brought in so things are different moving forward

    Only thing posted since he took over is this reply for the womens game.
