Coming in at the end of the season to replace Lawwell.

Scottish Rugby Union CEO - been working with Lawwell over fan testing i.e trying to get fans back into stadium.

Anyone on here know anything about him?

I just hope he realises football means association football, and not Gaelic football. Otherwise he might get us Cillian Sheridan.

I’ve been impressed with how Scottish Rugby has been run over the past decade or so, think it’s come on leaps and bounds. Hopefully he was a big part of that. Also paves the way for a DoF.

    Exciting times.

    Interesting..

The revamp needed is under way, happy days..

You can maybe understand why, we've not employed a new coach.. As the new CEO will want a DOF, who will in turn appoint a new coach..

I’ve actually met him at a couple of events through my work and he’s definitely a Celtic fan who at least keeps up to date with goings on. Not sure if he attends games (probably difficult in his current role), but he at least has an interest.

Hopefully his lack of football “expertise” sees a step away from the chief executive acting as some sort of director of football though.

    Best of luck to him.

Bit excited about this tbh. The SRU is an impressively run organisation. Also, as others have said, his lack of football involvement should mean a step away from our CEO acting like a DOF.
