He's had his chance the last 8 months. And it's just been disaster after disaster. This season has been as if it's been taken straight from the 90's as previously stated, it's been that bad.

It's clear he's never going to cut it here, if he does it'll be a shock of David & Goliath proportions.

There's just so many mistakes he's made if written down it could come close to a novel.

Yep special treatment is what he is getting. Probably down to the money invested bringing him. I think personally Lawell should be sacked too. Picking Barnes got Jock Brown and Alan McDonald the sack if I remember correctly. Mogga basically took over a successful team but which had 3 weak positions (CH. LB, striker) and who still only threw it away on the last day. Teams losing on the last day is acceptable and normal TBH. We had seen it 3 times in 7 years last summer. So last summer was just * that happens if injuries, form loss and suspension just consire against you. We were actually a better team last year than 3 in a row and everyone was bouncing around Xmas. WGS was even getting more appreciation than normal. * really just happened. However, the sort of likely 13 point trail we have now is never in 100 years in the * happens category. Only the 'special' managers of the last 15 years have managed that sort of disaster. The sad thing is if he is gone this summer he will leave a squad stripped of leaders and character and that will be tricky to find. It will be very like the Barnes team that MON had to transform, with the difference that there will be no massive pot of money. I feel WGS had the formuma to make us win (nearly all the time) and instead of building on that with a similar manager like a Levein, we went down the risky Mogga experiment road. IMO that may have set us back a couple of years.

The figure is misleading because Strachan also brought in a lot of money from sales during his reign meaning the net spend was a * of a lot smaller I do not know the figure but I think there was about 20 million of sales out/money in. MON spent a lot but he essentially once he was in the job a few months sold noone for 5 years.

Regardless, Strachan justified it with 3 in a row (nealry 4). He hit the ground running (well after a few weeks) too. Mogga has taken us to what looks like a 13 point deficit. There is simply no comparison. You need to get back to the barnes era for that.

    I dont think its absurd.

The fans were constantly on strachans back and he won us 3 in a row etc.
So what am saying is Mowbray has embarassed the club imo and got us in a really awful position but apparently thats acceptable and he should stay.
Strachan is a better manager than Mowbray but some fans couldnt accept him. The only reason a think some fans are being patient is because he is a celtic man, the rest of you that want him to stay well patience of a saint.

I voted no, for his sake. He steadily looks like hes going to top himself at the prematch press conferences.

Correct however he did that by giving them mental contracts. I do not want another Balde saga to unfold.

    Not long enough to tell.

In my opinion, as of the end of the January window, he has now had opportunity to put a significant number of his own signings in place.

So he is one month into the period on which I'd be judging him. So far the team has not really gelled, although some of the football has been promising. I would want to see him in place till Christmas of this year before passing judgement.

Reality is though, it will depend whether we think we can get anyone significantly better this summer. And for me, significantly better does not equal Paul Lambert etc.
