I'm waiting for the SPL to see if Rangers are likely to be second going into the split and then they come out with some dramatic rule change like '1 will play 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 and 2,4,6,8,10 and 12 will all play each other' just to avoid a fourth match. Ok with me, you can choose not to have animals in your home so we should be happy not to have them rock up

I thought we only needed them to drop 2 points...

    I take it there's been a mistake?

If we claim the trophy at Ibrox...who else wants to see Lennon put out token sides for the rest of the game? Give young lads and backups the appreciation they deserve. I'd like to see Zaluska, Paddy McCourt, and Samaras play every game after that.

Not me. I have a bet with my Rangers supporting cousin. The bet is 1 pint for every point that Celtic win the league by.

Win the league by as many points as possible I say. :icon_mrgreen:

Whoever said we needed them to drop 5 points, must have forgotten that there are 5 split fixtures yet to be announced. We will need them to drop nearly all of their points between now and the Bigotdome.

Even with the mighty killie pooping the party at the Huns expense, which was awesome by the way, there's still 33 points up for grabs between now and seasons end. We win today and well be 17 points ahead, so basically the Huns need to either lose 2 or draw 3 times between now and the old firm whilst we win all our games for us to be able to win the title at their ground. Quietly optimistic it could happen, but doubt it I'm afraid.

Rangers are on 51. They have 11 games left so they can still get 33 more points, maxing them out at 84. We already have 65 so that means we need 20 points to give us 85 and clinch the title. Including the Rangers game, that is 5 games for us to play meaning 15 max points for us. So yes we still need them to drop 5 points before Ibrox and then we can clinch it there.

no after the rangers game theres 7 fixtures including the split games if we have more than 21 points lead we cant be catched, now we only need them to drop 2 more points providing we beat them and win all our matches.

There are 7 games(21pts) to play after the huns game.so to win at the bigot done we need to be between 19-24 infront before the huns game which is looking very likely

If we win our 3 matches before Ibrox, and Scumgers drop points in exactly one of their 3 matches before Ibrox, then we can win the league if we win at Ibrox :50:

Agree.lets just win our 2 games this week and see how they cope with the pressure of winning 3 games to stop us winning there.are the huns aware that it's possible.

I honestly can't see them winning any of they games especially united away

no thanks. i'd expect to see a lot of players getting rests, especially before cup games, but to field what would be our development team would be a slap in the face for those who pay good money to see a good team.

i wouldn't mind giving those who shouldn't be here next season a game to put them in the window but i wouldn't expect the vast amount of changes you envisage week-in, week-out.

we needed them to drop 5-7 points. yesterday they dropped 3 and we won. if we open up a further 2-4 points gap on equal games played, we can march to Ibrox with the chance of winning the title.

my only problem is that i can see them dropping points in all their games before we take a day trip to Ibrox.

Spot on Jokeyboy...if we keep winning and they drop any points in their next few games we could win it at IBROKES...but I don;t know wether I want to win it before then and celebrate as champions there...or to actually win it on the day at their midden...either way the league is ours(but not complacent:56:) and we are going to party:celt_2:.
