He should just play 4-4-2 & get as many of the creative players in the team as possible. Drop Brown, Bitton & Johansen they've let him down too often. Have a right good go at every team from now till the end of the season. At least go out with a few good performances.

New manager = no chance of CL as he has to "put his own stamp on the team"
Keep the manager = slim chance of recreating last seasons second half form and reaching CL

    Simple as that.

Why does a new manager mean no chance of CL?

No nothing is amusing me just now. I'm just trying to find light in the situation and I can still see it. We have had some bad luck compared to previous years.

We'll obviously give it a go but it'll be some achievement for a new guy to come in and within a matter of week's, get us in to the champion's league..

I'll no be getting my hope's up..

It easier to qualify now than it was previously. We now have the champions route. History tells me than Ronnie is the only Celtic manager to fail to qualify now that it has been made easier. So I can read it that history gives Ronnie no chance of qualification.

And it doesn't tell us that Ronny isn't capable of getting us there?

From Day 1 Ronny should have been Assistant Manager to an experienced head. Then he could have learned about us, what is expected, what is required and developed his skills and how to become a superb numero uno with us. That didn't happen and when he joined us it was a leap of faith from us and from Ronny.

Managing Celtic is a huge job, with all it's complexities and expectations, probably one of the biggest, if not THE biggest in tne UK - just listen to WGS when he talks about the job - and yet we went for someone who had managed a wee 'hometown' team, gave him support in the former of the 2J's and told him to win the League and get us into the CL. Sure Ronny could have said no thanks but if we were in his position 2 years ago, would we have said "no thanks", not sure if we would get another opportunity?

I think Ronny will prove to be a highly skilled and successful Manager in the years ahead because of what he has learned with us but it won't be with us.

History tells us Lennon had two failed attempts at CL qualification. And history tells us that Deilas first two seasons have been better performance wise and results wise (marginally) than Lennon :56:

    History indeed :smiley-laughing002:

History (and basic common sense) also tells us that Ronny Deila is not Neil Lennon.

    Also, bollocks.
