I know we have our problems but I just can't see us not getting through tomorrow.

I'd understand the negative comments if we were 2 or 3 down going in to the second leg even then it wouldn't be all over, we could definitely overturn it. The fact is we are at 1-1 at half time and we are a far superior footballing side to AEK, I honestly believe that will come through tomorrow.

    Keep the faith

I hate to say it, but i can see us getting pumped tomorrow. With the way we are playing at the back I can see us losing by a few goals. I'm * RAGING!!!!

Celtic away in Europe. Hostile atmosphere. Warm climate. Crucial game.

We’ll * the bed. 4-0 AEK. Do the usual of concede 2 in about 5 mins.

I’m not proud of the above statement.

I thought they were defensively excellent when they went down to ten men last week and have a feeling they will settle in again tomorrow and fancy their chances, that we will certainly give them, on the break. I don't think they are any great shakes, but they are well drilled and have the advantage to hold on to. I can see a 0-0 or 1-0 to them. I hope I am wrong.

I don't know about 4-0 but I truthfully have no confidence in us going through. Our away record is * and we do tend to bottle it in away games. Frankly I'd be delighted if we're not a goal down within 15 minutes - that's one thing that really gets me (even under BR). There is always talk of being tight for the first 15 - 20 minutes in these games and then you log on 15 minutes in and we've already conceded - quite often because we've been caught cold.

Like yourself - I'm not proud of this but I'm a realist. In terms of ECL qualification games - the only example of us producing a truly professional performance away to a decent team is Rosenberg last year. Compare that to Red Imps, the Israeli team or Astana last year.

I'd gladly come on here and eat humble pie if we get through. However, if you were logically picking winners in these ties - I think that the overwhelming majority of impartial people would go for AEK. Our track record speaks volumes.

Going to go with my heart and say we will get a result which would take us through. Im going 2-2.

Its been a negative week, but to put it into persepective, we missed out on a player, drew against the greek champions and a player who isnt even our best defender wants to leave.

We still have a strong, united squad who have come through tougher games together. Im sure the players will want to get through this game more than ever.

Things change quickly in football. A result and all of a sudden the storm will pass. Big players turn up in big games. They will have long spells of possession in a very hostile atmosphere. But we do have speed in wide areas and we carry a goal threat and ability to hit them on the break. Forrest and Ntcham with a dramatic late equaliser.

It's difficult to be optimistic about Celtic's chances tonight. There is a bad feeling about the club just now. On top of that, how likely is it that defence can keep a clean sheet tonight? Not very I'd say. So if AEK score then Celtic have to score at least two or face extra time and/or penalties in a really warm climate.

The tie isn't over but I wouldn't put a single penny on Celtic coming through this one.

the fact we got a good rest into some key players at the weekend gives me a bit of confidence , id be really confident if we had a good CB , midfield to front we are brilliant its just at the back thats really worrying

I like many others doubted we would get through this tie since last Wednesday night but I woke up this morning confident of us getting through.

This really hinges on the defence, I’ve enough confidence in the attaching players to do a job but not so confident there won’t be a mistake or lack of concentration at some point in the 90 minutes.

AEK were a decent enough team and it will be interesting to see how the centre halves deal with that big Croatian forward over there.

Yes we can do this...no question..but the defence in particular need to be at it tonight

Starting to feel optimistic about this despite thinking before we would blow it. Have a good feeling.

Trying to convince myself that a run in the Europa League might not be too bad for us. Getting a couple of wins in Europe for a change and having a genuine chance at getting through the group stages would be refreshing change in some respects. However, all I really want is to hear Celtic Park drown out the CL theme and get pumped 3-0 at home off Real.

"Our away record is * and we do tend to bottle it in away games." Why has this been the case in Europe for decades, is there something missing at the 'heart' of the club? Apart from the very occasional good result, like at Anderlecht last season, the away record since the inception of the European Cup in it's current guise, is dismal.

You don't have to go back to the Stein day's to find Celtic teams who could negotiate difficult away games like tonight, games against Ajax in '82 and 2001 spring to mind, but really performances like that are few and far between. If Celtic are to progress tonight then they need to find some resolve, some 'heart'. They can do it, but they need to be men.

I’ll be amazed if we progress. I anticipate another Malmo away, Beer Sheva away etc.

Our attack will be stifled, they’ll nick a goal or two from a set piece or an individual error, and that’ll be that and the inevitable inquest will begin.

Hopefully I know * all and I’m just a pessimist and we spank them 3-0.

I actually think I have confidence in the defense. I think one of our main weaknesses this season and last is our imagination and our composure in the final third. Would have been great to have Arzani or even a Mr Roberts in our side again to add something else. Sinclair was good at the weekend but we can't rely on just one proper wide man for the whole of a game.
