    Love big Sammy, but you can't argue with an offer of £3m. With that we could almost buy a player of Jelavic's quality, a clinical striker who can walk the SPL, as opposed to Samaras who is a good player but far too inconsisent.

    Don't think he partners well with anyone, would rather see us get in a really good striker who can be partnered with hooper or stokes & play a lone role if need be.

    i'd have kenny miller back instead of sammy...thats how much i rate him...he's played better this season.....but a celtic striker with two goals who's played more than two games.....isnt good enough. with the chances celtic create...i could score 2 goals...and i'm a fat *.

    He is a good player but with £3m we can get someone so much better he doesn't suit the spl he needs to move to a league he will get time on the ball

    Rewind back to before the new year OF game. If this bid came in then, 90% of the fans saying keep him would have a different tune. People saying about him in Europe also, if he can't score in the SPL what chance do we have in Europe. He has missed a couple of sitters in europe aswell, away to Aalborg and Villareal.

    i like the big guy and on his day he's one of the best players at the club in my opinion but his day doesn't come round enough to justify knocking back that kind of money.

    mmm, if it were to bring some money in for shane long by happening right now i'd go for it, but honestly i'd like him to stay, rather have murphy out and have a strikeforce of sammy, hooper, and stokes and long.

    we would not find a replacement at a simila price. if you up it to 4.5 I prob would if we had a proven replacement locked up (proven= a guy who has done the business at a top 4 league)

    For £3m, absolutely I would sell him

    Hooper cost about £2.4m

    Stokes cost about £1.2m

    I think both are better, and particularly as a partnership.

    No question about it as far as I am concerned. For £3m I would definitely sell him.
