I am always positive about Celtic when it comes to getting results, but can't honestly see us turning this around, I've never ever seen a worse Celtic performance than the one I had the misfortune of watching last night. I can't see them turn this around . Having been so bad last night I don't think there is an average performance in the team for next week . Somehow or other I cannot see the players and Manager pulling together and trusting each other into getting a result . We won't have Ambrose , surely he can't pick Mulgrew or Berget , so he is going to have to pick at least 3 players he didn't fancy this week .

 

It's obvious we have very little chance of qualifying, but as kick off approaches, we will unite and support our team in the hope something miraculous will happen.

Sadly, if we do qualify, it will only deflect the attention away from the board.

Too many folk, including the board, need a severe reality check towards the crap our fans are being asked to accept. I'll spare typing the details, as it's ground I've covered here. there and everywhere. along with every other rational individual with even a modicum of interest in Scottish football.

I wouldn't think of suggesting the board get shifted but I do think if Lawwell and the board don't rectify the dissatisfaction, then he should at least openly and publicly state that he recognizes the majority of fans are now disgruntled and share a common concern about the direction the club is heading. He should then, in plain words, detail the fkn intention!

 

No. Can't see Ronny changing his tactics of playing a high line, so Legia or any half decent team with pace will get behind and create scoring opportunities - should have conceded in Iceland. We won't keep a clean sheet, so will need to score at least 5 and can't see that happening.

Much like Arsenal, we may need a major catalyst for change i.e. a couple of serious shocks to the system.

If we progress to the play-offs, it may enable the likes of Lawell to continue bluffing. Whereas if Legia comfortably progress, the fans may finally put their foot down.

When Karagandy shocked us last season, that was soon forgotten when we managed to get through. Celtic fans need to get rid of that mentality. Putting an AWFUL side to bed does not justify the exceptionally mediocre squad we currently have. If we get by Legia, major investment is needed. Otherwise, we won't count in future stages. We may even get humiliated.

I doibt we will go through. We were completely outplayed and outfought in the first match. We have a new formation, a new manager, a new style of play and we arent even playing at our home ground. We are also missing some of our key players like sammy brown and forrest who could make a difference in these games. Need a minor miracle.

I think for most, it'll be taking that 5% chance we'll qualify and focusing our energy in hope a miracle occurs.

It's like putting on the lotto, you know your probably not going to win, but you buy a ticket anyways. Some folk sit in front of the TV, butterflies, imagining what they'll buy with the money, just in case.
