I'm the same mate. I've been ill for a couple of days and went up to bed at five oclock last night and told the missus to wake me at 7pm.

I woke up at twenty past ten. Raging. :31: She said she tried to wake me but I was out cold.

I was sure we had tanked them as well because the last match i never saw either live or on the box was the 7-0 St Mirren game in Strachan's last season, the wife wanted to go to a match so i thought that would be a decent one to give her my ST to go with the bhoys. :52: :smiley-laughing002:

My brothers clutch burst on the way home from Edinburgh and I needed to go rescue him and then give him a lift home and then back down mines and by the time I got down the road it was 75 minutes in.

I'll be coming off the back of a nighshift, struggling like * to stay awake till after the game is finished just to watch the Celtic play Kilmarnock.

I'll be working on Tuesday night with no way of seeing the game, won't even get to know the score until about midnight. I am almost distraught :54:

I still enjoy going to see Celtic play whether it's against Morton in a cup game, St Johnstone in the league or Barcelona in Europe.

However it is the case that domestic matches lack the edge of some in past because there is no true competition against us, it has had an affect on the crowds and imo the players.

Any way you can tape it and get home without hearing the score?

I was working a back shift when we pumped Liverpool at Anfield in the Seville season and didn't finish until 9pm.

I got the wife to tape the game, got a big cargo in and warned my workmates not to tell me the score under penalty of death.

got through the whole shift, jumped on the bus, put my walkman up full blast and shut my eyes until I got home.

My neighbours must have thought I was a maniac when I was jumping around the room like a madman at 11pm at night. :smiley-laughing002:

WE have no genuine contenders (imo) for the league title, but going on a game-by-game basis, each game is still competitive as we can still lose/drop points against opposition.

    Most likely not.

I don't finish till about the back of 9 the following morning. I couldn't hold off hearing the score until then. Just wont be able to see/hear the game at all, and wont be able to check results till shortly after 12.

I'll still record it and watch it when I get home on Wednesday morning mind you :50:

Your neighbours must love you :56::56:

Even so it feels like a pantomime because in the end we're going to win it anyway. Last season we won the league with the lowest points total in SPL history.

I remember going to watch Celtic and still enjoying the experience even when we knew we were going to LOSE.

Hey, I still go to every home match. It'd take an act of * for Celtic not to win the league this season, that sense of inevitability is not good for us and without doubt has affected the attitude of the players which in turn affects result

I know mate, it's becoming quite tedious and quite frankly EMBARRASSING now.

Aye, remember the Dundee UTD game in Lennon's last game in his first season? Lost the league to Rangers (RIP) and still one of the best games that season.

Some people really need to wisen the * up.

So you accept then that we could lose games in the league? How can each game (individually) on the whole not be competitive then?

It does but if people feel like it doesn't really matter or it's a pantomine I don't get why you do. It'd just feel wrong for me.

what makes people think this * new sevco mob are even going to be contenders in our league?

They are a new team in the lower division, just because the media wont believe it doesn't make it true...they are in financial meltdown and IF they survive this season they are in with the big boys in div 1,then they will see what real teams are like....if and by if ,they make it up here.....do you really think some millionaire aka Craig Whyte is gonna take over them and pump all his money into a team that might challenge for the top 6?

    * sevco wheteher you believ they are the same or not just because they have the fans and stadium....they are tactically inept, and poisonous manager that will be found out very soon....

Do I miss the old rangers? Ye for the years we weren't in the CL it was something to look forward to......now (as sevco apparently) ....NO id rather be in with the big boys every year....6 great games or more.....the league was in a vertical dive when they were here...its just more noteworthy now because we loose a few games in the league and we say its ok..

Dundee Utd,Aberdeen,ICT im more * of at,they should be going at us full tilt the whole season, they could be contenders if they really believed in themselves
