As for perks, I'm a student, so theres lots. However I'm joining the fire brigade in due course, so perks for that I suppose will be a non-boring job and the chance to save lives I suppose.

Post of the year my baws :87:

And your post isn't much better. Why don't you bother to actually find out about subjects before posting bullshit about them. Cannabis smoke doesn't kill, theres absolutely no evidence to support your claim, never mind passively smoking it.

Alcohol on the other hand you claim is all fine and dandy if you are responsible but when you look at the amount of deaths on the road caused by drink drivers then your argument seems to crumble. Drunk people and their actions cause way more harm to innocent human beings than cannabis ever has and ever will. The chance of a random physical or verbal assault is greater by a drunk person than is by a stoned person. Cases of abuse within the home are often fueled by alcohol too.

But no matter what smoking the herb is much more dangerous eh?

Come on to * people, where do you get your information from?

One joint is worse to a person than one beer. I'd rather my parents had a can of beer or glass of wine when looking after me than a joint, as it would have less effect on me.

Drink driving is not a responsible action. Neither is assualt. My point is that drinking responsibly has no implications on others, compared to smoking a joint in a house with children.

That's exactly not quite what the nurse doctored for my swearing out speech, only orthopaedically, her being a nurse and all. Just glad I knew where the towels were. Close call when the weasels e-burped.

Aaaah! true! Good advice my young mason! In any case I keep all the beef and lamb in the patio fridge. Meat products for my wife (the pork I give her every so often - rationed for health resons you see)Ç is stowed in a bag in a nearby river.

She gets so excited on Pork Days.

Hilariously gash response - not one mention of the illegality of it whatsoever. The only humorous thing is that it is in no way even a half-decent comback with regard to the queries of smoking in the same house as children (you don't say it doesn't happen, despite having two opportunities to do so), and with regard to the illegality of it (you are acting illegally, and revelling in that is - in fact - dangerous with young members on this forum.)

You say you smoke "in the comfort of your own house" and that you are getting to spend lots of time with the kids....due respect, but it hardly takes Hercule * Poirot to come to the simple conclusion i did. If i am wrong - as i have said before - you are still a felon anyway, for committing illegal acts.

"Your getting too * self righteous about my affairs for my liking. "

No, what i am actually doing is pointing out is that you are the polar opposite of what should be construed as an example for people to look up to - despite your protestations to the contrary. "World's most beneficial plant" indeed - what a load of * drivel you speak man:

"The report cites as an example the world's most widely-used cancer drug, Paclitaxel, which is derived from the bark of several species of yew tree. Its complex chemical structure and biological function has so far made it impossible to produce artificially."

That is a quote from the BGCI, who actually know what they are speaking about, as opposed to waffling generalisations with little to no foundation in truth. That was located in approximately half a minute, and although you may try to put a spin on it saying it's a tree, and not a plant, you really should actually read up on the percentage of people worldwide who rely on plant-based treatments to survive / improve medically. THOSE are beneficial plants.

In conclusion, while i fully expect you to keep prattling on about your love for all things green and smoke-related, know this - to me, you are nothing other than a * pot-head, and are setting an abysmally bad example for younger people on this forum. Although you won't be, you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself.

EDIT - i shall not be making any more posts on this subject, irrespective of whatever monotonous tat our resident stoner has to say for himself.

The legality? - * the legality!

I know I am breaking the law every time I smoke. That is the sad reality of the situation in this * country just now but thankfully other places in the world are wisening up and hopefully one day soon this country will follow suit.

Cannabis is widely becoming accepted throughout the world as a great medicine and not a dangerous substance as was once the case, wrongly. One day I'll not have to bother 'debating' this subject with the likes of yourself.

Your pointing out that I am a felon seems to me to be worthless in this debate. I do not encourage others to follow my lead or do what I do, I only post my opinions and experiences.

Young members should have parents who supervise their internet usage and decide what content is suitable, thats not my job when posting in the pub.

The cannabis hemp plant has served man for thousands of years it really is the most versatile plant on the planet. Food, Fibre, Paper, Fuel, Medicine can all come from the cannabis hemp plant. Hardly drivel when a quick google search will confirm this.

    Hemp Products Information

Medical cannabis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I dont know what this part is trying to prove, is it that cannabis hemp is not beneficial? This tree bark may well be beneficial but if you click the links I've posted then you will see all the beneficial uses of this great plant.

    You cannot argue over this.

    In Conclusion...

If you have ever took the time to read anything on the cannabis issue apart from government propaganda then you would well know the benefits of the plant. Go and educate yourself and get off your high horse because to me you just make yourself look like an irrational fool. I may be a 'pot head' but I disagree that I set a bad example on this forum. I have been a member on here for nearly 4 years and never had as much as an infraction. I try to reason out my points and prove what I'm trying to say. No-where do I encourage younger members to take cannabis!

The fact that I smoke in my house or around my kids has * all to do with you either. You took this thread way off topic by trying to attack me and what I get up to around my loved ones. Totally irrelevant to the subject with you looking to spout out your disapproval at my actions. I do what I think is best for my kids and its working superbly, they are all doing great.

I hope you take the time to read up on the subject :50:

Cheers for your response - appreciated. Neither of us will agree with one another over this. We both have our (strong) reasons for thinking the ways we do. I hope we can put this behind us and move on.

As for reading up on the subject, rest assured i am well schooled - especially from a stance of the dangers mentally it poses.
