If we do draw them, whether at home or away, we are effectively in a lose-lose situation. For example, if the game is at Celtic Park then I guarantee it will have atleast 50,000, or an extra 36,000-40,000 more than the Raith Rovers tie, which will put to bed the myth that playing them in any shape, form or company is not still the most exciting domestic game in Scotland bar a title decider, a Cup Final or Semi Final or the odd trip to Tynecastle. Are they the same club? No. Do they have the same bigoted supporters? Absolutely. I'm not going to be a hypocrite and deny that the fact they are such vile, disgusting poisonous cretins is exactly why we love beating those *. Infact it will be interesting to see how the board handle it i.e Would Sevconians have 7,000 tickets and if so, was this arranged between Lawwell and Green weeks ago?

In terms of the game itself, we can 99% guarantee we'd win at Celtic Park but all of the talk of absolutely trouncing them is not going to happen, because I don't believe our players have or would have the mindset of doing exactly that. At Ibrox, we could very easily lose to them because of one word: Attitude. We had the chance to win the last ever SPL title at Ibrox, 4 months before they liquidated and we failed, not because of ability but because of attitude. We can laugh about how * they are but they still have the 2nd biggest budget in Scotland - Clearly Sevco haven't learned anything from 1872-2012 FC - and aren't any worse than any SPL team we'd face, at Ibrox anyway. If we lost to them, it would never be forgotten and would be the ultimate low. Personally, because of how * they've been away from home in SFL3, I hope they get a draw at either Tynecastle, Tannadice or Pittodrie while we get a fairly comfortably away tie at St Mirren (Partly due to my own selfish reasons with my time etc). If we both get through this however, I'd want them in the Semi Final.

They are not the same club, but rest assured, the new club is followed by the exact same mutant fans that we've been feuding with for over 120 years.

I would love to get them in the next round and absolutely humiliate them. It would also sell out very quick, ensuring more money for Celtic and another great attendance. Win-win situation for our club and our supporters.

 

Would love to see us thrash them if we were drawn together but I'd be more concerned about them injuring any of our talent. Frankly, though, couldn't give a * about them.

I don't want to draw them. Indifference/Lose situation. We win , people will say sevco are in division 3 of course you were going to win. We draw or lose people will never let it go.

 

No for two reasons, I don't want them to get the revenue and also I couldn't handle it if we lost, would need to emigrate.

I will be happier if some other diddly team put them out.

 

Personally as long as we get a home draw I am not bothered one way or another who we get.

 

Send out the bench who would do a good job in humping them ,with the added bonus of Lennon saying " We have a big game at the weekend and its a good oppurtunity to have a look at the younger team members" Thats a slap in the face.

Don't really care. I'd be quite content if we didn't play them for the next three years. Or ideally ever.

Watching the game against Motherwell I did get the urge to draw them and put them in their place but that's passed now.

If we draw them I hope we destroy them but honestly won't be watching the draw hoping we draw them. I'd rather they remained insignificant and Celtic continue to move on to bigger and better things.

 

Not for me bigger fish to fry, I am content with CL and SPL feel they want the tie more than us..... Never want to acknowledge them again HH
