I'll be at the game and if the club having a fans display adds to the atmosphere and enjoyment of the game then I don't see what the problem is.

Some complaining about the clubs efforts are probably the first ones that would be on forums saying if the board done nothing they were tight fisted *.

just shows pettyness to the whole world if a full section of people don't join in on the display because they don't agree with it it and apparently because its gonna be made of * plastic. If this was to happen it would become a story in the press no doubt (that's IF it was to happen) hypothetically, it wouldn't look good for the club. Just join in , if the green brigade join in with their own one ... PERFECT !! It will be even better!

lets just look forward to the game bhoys !!! :50::celt_2:

I do not like advertising either (especially not for alcohol), but we need advertising to keep the club running and buy and pay players. So if there is a bit of advertising on the sheets, I would not really care, as long as the main message is about Celtic.

I prefer a fan initiative like the GB did last year (and I doubt it will be topped by this years' display), but it is commendable that the club is doing its part as well. The main thing is that we all join in or it will reflect badly on Celtic.

Celtic knew Weeks Ago About the GB Display, Now Celtic Organise One People Really Have No Right Having A Go At The Green Brigade/111 Over This.

Who's having a go at the Green Brigade?

As far as I'm aware the GB have made the club aware that they're doing their own display so 111 won't be included in the club's one anyway.

Reading Comments On Twitter Some Are Having A Go At The Group For Not Taking Part, And I Did Say Celtic Knew About This Weeks Ago.

Well the group obviously aren't gonnae take part because they're doing a separate display.

If anyone outside of the group tries to scupper the club's display by not taking part then that's shocking behaviour IMO.

why not have two displays ?

one before music and one after -- or one at half time. The two displays do not have to be at the same time. Hope it gets sorted

Indeed. Let's hope the fans can "display" so much sense.

It's going to look * daft... A full stadium display with 1 section doing their own thing. This is exactly the reason some people believe that the Green Brigade think they're better than everyone.

I don't care if they've organised a display if the club's organised a full stadium display, theirs can be moved much, much more easily to before/after the main one or to half-time.

I don't care that one's fan-funded and one's club funded either. Celtic (the club & other fans) takes precedent over being an ultra. It wouldn't even be a great compromise although I'm sure it would be turned into some kind of persecution by the Green Brigade.

I was & am one of their biggest supporters but things like this will turn people against them. What if lots of other little groups held their own display during a full stadium display? People wouldn't happy. :38:

Spot on. We already have what I assume is a perfectly good display lined-up, for the Green Brigade still trying to be do their own thing and potentially jeopardize the look of the display just comes across as incredibly petty and attention-seeking. Could they not face being out the limelight after last season or something? It's almost as if they don't want their display topped by Celtic (which is unlikely anyway).

I'm a big fan of the green brigade and love what they bring to the club.

But if we have a cracking big full stadium display with a gap in the corner that's going to detract from the display which is a huge shame. They may also lose a few supporters of their group by doing as well.

The GB can easily do their display at any point before or after or at half time.
