He only scored one mate, it was a good finish too. Second one was an OG, he was nearest player in our team, but hit their CB

It was only coefficient points at stake, we have plenty of them.

I don't know how many were there but our fans were excellent tonight. It sounded like a home game for us.

Last point similar to one made by Sutton tonight and I agree.

We are too open and naive in Europe, but play same way and get away with it in SPFL ...... And that's my problem with Ronny. When we've played in Europe, from the first Legia game, we've treated every team like they're a Ross County or St Mirren. He makes no allowance for playing better quality European sides. He plays same formation with same tactics as he does in SPFL. He is either too stubborn or a dreamer. Until and unless we tighten up in front of our back 4, stop our centre backs and Izzy going wandering upfield we may as well just play for the the money.

Coefficients are overrated. In our situation its actually a blessing having a game against some * icelandic or irish team in july to fine tune the team. In order to be useful for us, it would need to send us straight to UCL group stage and for this to happen we would need one or two scottish teams reaching EL group stages regularly.

Losing this game wouldnt make a difference

Bit disappointed to see us lose. We need as many co-efficiency points as we can get to remain a top seed in Champions League/Europa qualifying.

But Scepovic has come good. I imagine he'll be feeling pretty confident. Let's hope he can take it up a few notches and bang them in domestically.

Brown, Mulgrew, Forrest, Denayer and Guidetti were all out tonight so we can't complain too much though.

With a couple of new additions in January to spice things up, we could see ourselves progress beyond the Last 32.

That was a very exciting game for the neutral im sure, from my point of view though its clear we are not learning from our mistakes in Europe.

Yes it was a dead rubber but its still embarrassing to concede 4 goals to dynamo Zagreb who are a poor poor side often humiliated in the champions league.

Ronnys style reminds me of Brendan Rodgers, high pressing and aggressive but * poor at the back. I am willing to give ronny until the end of the season as there has been progress in the league since august but he has a lot of convincing to do for me to believe hes the long term manager we want.

Thought biton looked good again. Darnell did well when he came on.

    Player ratings in my opinion

Gordon- Usual performance, unlucky to have put 4 put past him. - 7/10
Matthews- Completely at sea for the first two goals, the guy is not a RB- 3/10
VVD- Didn't domuch wrong, but didn't do much right- 6/10
    Ambrose- Same as above- 6/10
Izzy- poor, just a bit better than Matthews- 4/10
Johansen- Forced to play deep, which left him stifled- 5/10
Biton- Played fairly well got a couple of assists albeit without much knowledge of what was happening- 7/10
Mcgregor - Shocking, a shadow of the player he was during the summer- 3/10
Commons- Made the team lacked pace, put stilled oozed class tonight- 7/10
    Wakaso- Shocking- 4/10
Scepovic- you wouldn't realise he was playing if he didnt score but he did take his chance well- 6/10

Pretty much the performance I expected from us without Brown and Forrest. Typical *.

Aye cause we want to be playing competitive games as early in the season as possible. No thanks, I want us to have as many coefficient points as possible and keep/improve on our seeding.

Truthfully, if I'm going to be worried about something it's not going to be this game tonight. It's our whole European campaign that would worry me. We've been poor ever since that first trip to Iceland with only the odd flicker of a good performance sprinkled here and there.

A KR Reykjavik - We won but it was a scabby early season performance.
H KR Reykjavik - Played well here but against very poor opposition. How much can you take from that?

A - Legia Warsaw - Total capitulation. Embarrassing.
    H - Legia Warsaw - Dire again.

A - Maribor. Actually thought we played ok in this match. Pass marks.
H - Maribor. Rank rotten, got what we deserved.

A - Salzburg. Good result away from home to a decent team. No complaints.
H - Dinamo Zagreb. * poor performance. Very lucky to win.
H - Astra. Uninspired performance at home to a bad team.
A - Astra. Another poor performance against a team we should be far better than.
    H - Salzburg. Taught a lesson.
A - Dinamo Zagreb. Shipped 4 goals. The game was meaningless but that's still not good.

When you look at our European campaign in it's entirety there is not much to get excited about. We're fortunate to have come through the group stage and I would suggest the main reason we have done so is because the group we were in was so weak. Let's not kid ourselves, Dinamo and Astra are poor sides at this level. The fact we played four matches against those two teams and couldn't muster a single good performance against either is actually quite worrying. It suggests to me that we're a pretty poor team at this level too.

We will not go much further in this competition. In fact if we don't improve significantly I predict we will be eliminated in the next round whoever we draw. Call me negative if you want but I'm only telling the truth as I see it.

We were exciting and frustrating in equal measure.

I can't help but be enthused with the road we're in though even in our last 2 European defeats there is plenty to be happy about despite leaking goals like a sieve.

VVD didn't play that well tonight, more than a few loose passes but still miles better than anyone else in the back 4. Izzy and AM were poor performers but we really need to replace Efe.

We've been awful away from home in Europe for years and years.

Martin O'Neil, Strachan, Mowbray, Lennon and now Deila, none of them have had the answer.

We did the job in this group and we have European football after Christmas and that was the objective.
