Prefers golf clubs to football clubs. As long as his investment is in the black he doesn't really care.

    * him.

Does absolutely nothing for the club.

I could run it better working a 5hr week.

He wealds a * of lot power for someone who owns just over 30% of the club.. yes, he's the major shareholder but, should he actually have that much influence..

Arguably when he's interjected he's gotten it right, especially with Rodgers the first time.. time will tell this time..

Its difficult to ascertain how involved he is with our structue tho.. seems to be a dinosaur type figure along with PL.. we badly need modernisation and it should be happening now..

I see Liverpool have put a head of footballing operations in from Bournemouth, before the appointment of their new manager, this is how it should be done..

We remain sluggish and painfully reactivate.

Hoping to get lucky with our managerial appointments, when in actual fact the club needs a total revamp.

He got PLC rules on ownership changed so he could fund Lennoxtown, and that is by far the best thing off the pitch he directly done for me.

Rodgers was great from him, but he backed him that much he let him decide background team like Congerton - the single most damaging appointment we’ve ever had.

Like a lot of the time under Desmond, short term thinking, short terms success. He’s done the short term success that many times, it’s been long term trophies now.

    Typical from the *.

Won't show up to the AGM but will turn up for * "gala" in Manhattan.

Actually surprised he hasn't started his own space program like the other billionaires. But then again, he'd just half * that too; bucket * rocket made out of the cheapest parts he could find, a control room full of unqualified idiots and underfunding his own programme, allowing the competition to catch up.

Moustachioed * dinosaur. Just * off.

Can we make this thread like the Gazza one?

An unspoken rule that it only gets bumped when he has gone toes-up on the golf course after an unfortunate incident with a bolt of lightning..

Sooo disappointing to have a peak in only to find out the
Weather has been fair for him.

One possible interpretation of the recent departures is that there was (as some people have argued) a power struggle between Lawwell and Rodgers, that Rodgers escalated it to DD after a second disappointing window and that DD largely came down on the side of Rodgers.

It's just speculation; but my gut feeling is that it's quite plausible speculation.

It's possible, but no one is gonna change how Peter lawwell operates, he's too old and set in that way now.
So as much as I'd love it to be true that DD has taken action and maybe even wants more say in things (perhaps his son when he takes the shares on will be more active), if he keeps PL around, then nowt will change really.

Actually …. I suspect there isn’t one … but if his name ever popped up in one…. I would be assuming/hoping it’s the news we all want to hear.

    Same with ‘auld handlebars’.

I see people's names in their thread all the time that I have never seen before in any of the Celtic match day or player threads :56: I hate them with every bone but I would much rather talk about Celtic than them
