Not all shareholders sit on the board

On the subject of DD having to get directly involved, you have to wonder what the custodians of the club, the board members are actually up to. If their No1 priority is not the footballing success of the club then they really shouldn’t be board members. Being a board member isn’t about getting rich piggybacking off a club, it’s about moving the club forward without going down the *. These frauds in suits are bleeding the club by lack of ambition, to see their share value increase. DD needs to weed out the ones not here for footballing reasons.

 

That's the exact opposite of what the board are supposed to do! They're supposed to protect the shareholders investment. They employ people to do the other parts - like McKay and Ange. And having shareholding board members is absolutely the norm, as most companies include share schemes as part of the terms of employment in order to encourage the growth of the company value.

We can't keep slagging the Huns about how their club/company aren't separate entities and then do the same ourselves. Like it or not Celtic football club is an primary asset of Celtic PLC, and the board are more interested in the company value and infrastructure than the football team, because that's what they're employed to do

 

You hit the nail on the head there these people are not Celtic men and Desmond as major shareholder is responsible and in my thoughts Desmond should go as well .

Id happy for anyone to take over, as long as they want to progress the club not regress and destroy it.
