Sad day for anyone football minded.
One of the best, and from the real fitba era.
What a legacy though…his family should be immensely proud.

A proper football player. In an era when we produced world class players as well.
My granda always said he was the best striker outwith the Lions in that era. -

The term ‘’Legend’’ is banded about far to much these days, but Denis Law goes way beyond that Legend term,
Iconic, Legend, The Greatest ??? I don’t know, you could put any term in front of his name and they would all fit.

Law was well before my time, and being honest, other than the '67 Wembley game I've never really seen much footage or bothered much about his career.
Hearing and reading the stories though is really great to hear. Some guy, and my old boy loved him!
RIP -
Legend. R.I.P Denis. Am I right in saying Denis Bergkamp was named after him?
