We have a simple choice. Keep doing the same things and we'll get the same results. So we can play the way we played for the past few years and with the same lads. We'll win the League but we'll get humped in Europe and with it all the misery and complaints that'll go with it.

OR

We can change. We can change to get different results and yes some will say we're doing that already in SPFL. If we are going to compete in Europe we need to change because our competition is changing and unless we play a different way, get smarter, play quicker, get more mobile what will happen will be we'll win the League, get another Legia or Maribor or maybe we'll qualify for CL and get 4 points at Group level.

As much as I don't like the results, the way we're currently playing, I want Ronny to succeed and be in for the long haul because if he doesn't succeed we'll go back to safe and secure Coyle, Keane etc.

So 4:3:3 with a mobile, speedy back 4, 2 CM guys who work front and back, 2 pacey wide players, No.10 and 1 Central hitman/goal scorer, which I think is what he's trying to do. So we have new lads in, got few weeks before Aberdeen with Villareal in middle and hope we change for better.

 

Watching the highlights again on sportscene - * how many times was Izzaguire not in position ???? - Scary thing delilah was watching the same game and didnt fix it.

 

We're changing for the worse, compared to before. In Europe, we'll have to defend against the biggest teams anyway, so the sturdy defense approach is correct. Deila's intended tactic leads to heavy defeats because it is reckless.

 

Was listening to sport sound and they kept on about the space given down the left. If he's pushing up, they need to * well watch that. Same thing happened during Maribor with Ambrose, so much space at back.

It's just no working for RD. Dermott has to step in no and bring in a real manager. RD's team selection is baffling at times. Act now before it's too late or we're getting pumped in the Europa. HH

 

Is this the route we're going down now? We're going from laughing at the foreign clubs who sack a new manager after a handful of games in a kneejerk reaction to actually wanting to become one of those clubs?

 

If we don't do it now we will regret it. Look at the hindsight. Barnes, Mowbrey, Brady. They should have been sacked as soon as it was clear they weren't up to it. Just because it's not cool to sack a manager who isn't performing it doesn't mean it's not right. Do it now before it's too late. HH

 

Sacking him this early would be crazy. I've not got much faith in the guy, hoping he proves me wrong though. If we're still as * in a few months time get him to *.

 

Until Deila has been allowed to build his own team, I don't see how he can be judged. The problems we are curently facing, are above Deila in my opinion.

I've saw none of it.

His subs are also mind boggling. Going out to Maribor he brought on Adam Matthews and trying to grab a win he brought on Nir Bitton (or were we holding on for a draw?).

This is essentially my view.

I don't see anything wrong with airing serious concerns many justifiably have about Deila.

Look at the one player he brought in himself, Berget is a terrible footballer and RD obviously underestimated the standard we are/were at.

Btw have we got the option to just send Berget back to Cardiff?

Ridiculously early to be judging him. Give him the season and allow him time to implement changes in style, we have not spent money on players so the worst that happens is we don't take players permanently. Remember how much doom and gloom was associated with Lennon's first months up until the 2-0 New Year win at Ibrox? I do, and Lennon had no managerial experience.

 

So are we going to judge Deila after one signing? He still hasn't been given a penny to spend on a player.
