I would let him sit and rot a year of his career away. Don't let him see the field even once. He'll be 28 this November so that can really go a long way in * his career up. Not many clubs will come in for a guy that age who hasn't been playing regularly. I don't care about the several million pounds we could get for him that won't be reinvested anyway. This is personal, let the * rot.

 

Keep him and let him rot in the stands for a year.
Players that act the * like this and down tools at the most crucial point of the season deserve to be punished. Let him end the season with no appearance bonuses, no medals, no game time even with the reserves, and every time his agent phones hang the phone up.
Let's see if Sevilla are so keen on a 28 year old bomb scare with 0 games played in the last twelve months.

Could never understand what brendan saw in him, always thought he was a liability. BR should take some responsibility in this as he has allowed the CB issue to continue for 2 seasons. hendrie is ok but he is a journeyman with very limited ability, simo is a glass man and a bit of a $hitebag when it comes to the big games an adjer is getting there but needs a quality CB to offer advice ( not the kind offered by john kennedy) and experience.

So p1$$ed off tonight as they did play well but again let down by our CB who just do not have the ability/experience .

 

Thats the really worrying thing. Rodgers seemed to rate him. Mental. The whole Boyata situation is a massive fuckup.
His contract should not have been allowed to enter the final year wether he was staying or not.
If he had been promised a move it should never been refused and a replacement should have been brought in.
Whatever happened Boyata should have been with the team fighting until the end,not faking injury and saying he is with the team from Behind his phone.
He now can't play for the club again,too much water has passed under that bridge,
Cut our losses and take what we can get.
