Thing is, he made the Belgian WC squad while AT Celtic, whilst being a bombscare AT Celtic. I can see him dropping down the International pecking order when he gets found out elsewhere. Bit ironic. I think it must be the money/agent turning his head.

I agree take the money now. Rumours are this morning he is refusing to play for us now. Get him tae *. He clearly has a short memory, we were the ones who gave him a platform to perform in Europe when he was rotting away at man city, players like this infuriate me, I have no problem with players using our club as a platform but then refusing to play etc is diabolical. We really need to act now on this and get the money for him n use the money for a no nonsense defender rather than sell him on deadline day and not spend any on another defender

We don’t really know what goes on behind the scenes , but if he wants to go , let him , especially if it’s the prices been quoted and he is in the last year of his contract. Dont really rate him although he is probably our best cb but that’s not saying much .

 

The fact that potentially losing an absolute bombscare would weaken our already * defence should be a massive red flag to the board. To say there is no potential replacement lined up shows the club had no intention of strengthening at cb this year which quite frankly is a disgrace.

 

Two absolutely * hour transfers... McGinn & Boyata..

One should have been punted * £9m and one a bargain at £3m..

Only we could turn such a position of strength into a borderline crisis..
