What a transformation for the guy.

18 months ago he had barely played any football in his career, now he's starring in the CL and probably playing his way into his national team. So happy for the guy because he's clearly put the graft in and seems like a cool dude. He's growing into the role of a leader too, you can actually see a visible change in his body language, and even posture.

Really hope he gets a run alongside Jozo because that partnership is gonna be huge for our European ambitions.

Surely up there with one of our greastest transformations ever. What a game this fella had absolutely stolled it.

Big Jozo as well. Great partnership forming there.

Yes, I know it wouldn't have changed the result, but if anyone thinks his presence (and Lustig back in his best position) wouldn't have improved the score against PSG, I disagree.

Cool, calm and collected... magnificent performance from Boyata tonight. You can really see the calming effect he has on the rest of the backline. Not the best technically but an outstanding defender by all accounts.

Didn’t put a foot wrong. Right place every time. Anderlect didn’t stand a chance. Solid

Outstanding tonight. He was on some form before his injury, so hopefully can get back to that. Excellent.

    Superb tonight.

His family were in attendance and I think it's his home town? They ought to be very proud.

Never been a believer but he's been impressive in the last two games. There may be a player in there after all.
