    This is effectively what Assassins Creed II is based on.

    I believe there is a codex stating that the world will end but not in 2012.

    It's basically been described as the sun over-heating and burning us to a crisp. According to the Mayans there are some sort of Ancient Temples that can with stand the apocalypse:rolleyes:

    If they could see into the future they must have seen their own demise so maybe whoever wrote the book was just a * and thought they would spoil the party for the rest of us by making us * ourselves. To be fair it's kinda worked, loadsa folk seem to think it's a possibility. It better not happen as i have already spent a fortune on Christmas :icon_mrgreen:
