    The entire deadline day "madness" has been utter dross so far.

    I won't be overly gutted if we don't sign another player come the end of tonight - would have jizzed ma man juice in ma boxers if we'd have signed Hernanes, there's still a chance we might get McCarthy, but hey ho if not.

    This full transfer window, we have signed (in no order) de Vries, Toure, Gamboa, Sinclair and Dembele - that's along with Ajer joining up at the start of the window.

    Not too bad considering we are getting the best out of the likes of Forrest and Brown.

    The away game against Be'er Sheva showed quite clearly that we needed to strengthen the squad and, despite being guaranteed around £30 million, we have signed reserve from WBA since then. Not acceptable for a club with any sort of ambition imo.

    If we don't sign anyone our board have dropped the ball yet again. We have the chance to push on and get the extra quality we need cause we can all see we clearly lack it in the middle of the park.

    3 hours left to get someone in fingers crossed something happens if not its * criminal yet again.

    cast your mind back to this morning and I also said that this deal was still on and there was talks taking place, nothing I have heard since last night has indicated that it is dead. I still think there is a good chance this will happen but there is a few dependencies, everton lowering their monetary expectations for the player and the player lowering his earnings whether it be a loan or permanent deal. my understanding is that celtic went in initially for a permanent deal. will this move happen, anybody's guess but I do know that celtic did pull out the stops and my understanding is that he was in Glasgow late last night and this morning.

    People are getting pretty hysterical. I'm sure they'd be happier if Dembele, Sinclair, Toure, De Vries and Gamboa were all signed today :56:

    We're trying to cut our squad down. Signing people for the sake of it on deadline day is how we got into this position. If we can't get who we want, we shouldn't sign anyone.

    Really should of got s midfielder. Bittons not been great this season & either has Brown apart from that game v Beershaba but he can't live of that all season.
