    And why do people assume its board tightening purse strings...can't it be for the reason that Rodgers went for the precise player he wanted and player said no for another reason aside money?
    The better scenario for us would of been if all the dross from the team was jettisoned...would of taken that over signing a player today...hangers on like McKay Steven, Armstrong and ambrose

    I wont. If it is a queston of waiting until January, or even next summer, to get a player that Brendan wants, rather than buying someone for the sake of it, I'll wait.

    Let's face it, we could spend £30m this transfer window and it still wouldn't get us anywhere near Barca or Man City, and there is no point spending that for the SPFL. We are a work in progress, let's give them time to get in the players the manager wants, it's not all going to happen in one go.
