I agree with what you're saying. This season has been a DISASTER. We're 10 points behind a Rangers team that, if you're being very generous, could only be described as average. I wasn't thrilled when Mowbray got the job, I just don't think he's up to the task. Every time we seem to have 'turned a corner', we then run into a brick-wall and a dead-end!!. Pittodrie last saturday was a joke, 4-2 up and could only get a draw, that was a disgrace!!!

Ok so this year it dont work for us....we get rid of our manager half way into the season.
What if it goes wrong next season aswell....do we then dump that manager after 5 months...4...3....?
Then there are the players....how many bad games before we * them off.....10/20/30....?
Some one in charge of man u took 5 YEARS to get it right and now look at them.
Sure celtic cant wait 5 years but we are in danger of turning into a bunch of impatient kids.
Most mnagers get atleast a few years to put things right.
We are in a right tough spot, tony wants them to play his way but maybe celtic cant buy the players we need to play that kind of football.
The least we can do is give the guy and the team some support it tough times.
Its ok quoting the great jock stein when it suits you but we live in different times to then.
Why dont you quot the celtic song that has the words....(win lose or draw).
Oh and i didnt say they would be poor fans for hating to lose.

You have just contradicted your whole point right there.

With regards to the song, that refers to supporting the club not the manager. i am not being dis-loyal to the club by wanting the manager out.

Can you imagine if man u went 5 years without a title nowadays they's be in uproar, as you said different times.

I think this is going to be repeated throughout the whole TM tenure , with fans distancing themselves from him and maybe just maybe if he wins the titles that brings the rest of us fans happiness , then the ones who have detached him from the often mentioned "Celtic family" will let him of the hook and allow him back into the fold.. just maybe..

i so want him to succeed here! i really do. but some of his decisions have been so * strange that its * me off tbh.i think the board will give him till january next season regardless to see if there will be change? time for him to wake the * up and get a grip and get our team going again.this season has been so pish for us all and atm im losing paitence with him.

Having watched my 1st game nearly 50 years ago I have witnessed many ups and downs and cried too many tears along the way. I am relatively new to this forum but now have to take anti -depresants before I log on; as a suggestion when you sign on for this Forum a batch of anti-d's should be sent out to you courtesy of the Moderators. If there was a Champions League for major moaners we would win hands down.
As I have said in other tags I am not TM's biggest fan but have to agree with 'Wulliebad's' comments on this tag. Let's say that TM does leave, having been a succesful Manager in another line of work I would have real reservations about taking this job because of all the flack waiting for me if I don't instantly please everyone and would be even more concerned about bringing my family into this cauldron. The potential rewards would not be enough for me. How WGS stuck this out for 4 years - winning 3 SPL titles and getting to the CL last 16 twice in the process - I will never know.
Too many did not like the way the team was playing over the recent few years so there has been a change at the top and now the footbal is pleasing but we are not happy because we are behind Rangers and the call is out for another change. So before the 'Popular vote' railroads another Manager out of Parkhead, be careful for what you wish because what guarantees do you have that the next Manager will give you the results you want?
Are things suddenly going to get better tomorrow or the next day or the day after.... probably not. Will we win the SPL this year....definately not. But will I be a Celtic supporter, this year and the next and for as long as I live and shed a few more tears along the way as we encounter more up's and down's..... Definitely.

Agree with most of the article.
Take it N'Guemo is the only loan signing he thinks has a chance of staying. Keane will be away but think if Braafheid and Kamara show enough between now and May then we could realistically sign them

Way to heap millions of pressure on him before an old firm. The board wont sack him if he gets beat against Rangers, there's no point with so little of the season left

Pointing the finger at Hooiveld, Rasmussen+Ki is ridiculous, they've barely played a dozen games between them and when they have played have looked decent.

You can't criticise the individuals signed by TB, i feel that the only criticism i would have is too many changes too soon. Plenty of managers have bought much poorer players.None of TB's buys are as bad as Mo Camara, Kilen and Virgo. They need time!! The Celtic team now remind me of a charity team of superstars thrown together, who look good on the ball but aren't working as a smooth unit due to not knowing each other. Ki is the perfect example. Everything he does looks good but he is operating with a bunch of strangers and it shows. They don't 'fight' as a unit for each other as they don't know each other. it takes time!! Surely like WGS you keep the core of the team you inherit, you don't rip it apart in 4 months. There has been a few dodgy tactical decisions but that comes with pressure and bad results. He undoubtedly has had bad luck in two ares, shocking misses by all his strikers and poor refereeing decisions in his first two old firm games.

My point is we shouldnt be jumping all over our manager half way through his first season,so we are in a tough spot and maybe just maybe the club cant find the money to buy the players that tony wants.
That does not mean sack the guy, there is more than one way to build a winning team.
If it dont work this year then next year he can try something else....different style or players.
My point all along is the fans think we should win everything, every game...every free kick....every corner...and so on,but when things dont go right its shouting and booing and stamping of feet time.
Thats the actions of spoilt kids.
As i said before in a different thread celtic park and its fans are changing and its not for the better.
We need to change or in the very near future no manager will come within a hundred miles of us.

Agree with 'Wulliebad's' latest comments and just wanted to add this to those who are talking about players like N'Guemo or Kamara being signed up for the Club. If you were them and you witnessed 1st hand the negativity in the Stadium, in the Press and in this Forum to TM and the Team of which you were part, would you want to sign a long term contract with this Club, bearing in mind that you came partly/totally because TM was the Manager? I would be saying 'Thanks for giving me the opportunity to show what I can do and paying my wages but there is no way I am prepared to play under this pressure for the next 2/3/4 years.' If we are not careful not only will we not be able to attract quality Management, the better players will also give us a wide berth, which will put us back to the 'non profitable' days of having to pay EPL wages to get players to play in the SPL.

We do have some really quality individuals. I think Ki is going to be a grand signing as is Rasmussen. But as said int eh highlighted area there is no fight! And this has got to be down not just to TM but the whole coaching staff. Every player should be told about the passion needed to succeed at Celtic Football Club. And like WGS he might not have had the best players but got them to fight till the 90th+ min. We are in dire need of passion in our team and that has got to be done through ALL the coaches.

Yep sure will be. * to pay from the bipolar, glory hunting morons who have no clue.

We are gonna have to play mark Wilson at centre half due to injuries yet people will still demand he gets the sack.

The attitude of some Celtic "supporters" these last few months has made me sick and ashamed to call myself one. The greatest fans in the world my *!! Faithful through and through.....pish!!

United we stand decided we fall. Celtic supporters are ripping the heart out if the club with there constant sniping and moaning.

    Get behind the team
