    I'm in danger of getting annoyed here. You want to see intelligence in our play yet there's some embarrassing stuff. Pre-season friendly aye but it's still a bit frustrating at times.

    That was a fine half of football.

    DC United are a bit pish, quite clearly. But Celtic have looked really composed and tidy on the ball. Good aggression in the midfield and there's a purpose going forward. Nothing seemed aimless which was a real problem last season when in possession. Feel like we were in the mood to get things going and create chances every time we were on the ball there.

    Could easily be about 4-0 at half-time. Obviously changes will be made in the second half but this has been as enjoyable a friendly game as I've watched us play in a long time. Especially in the US where we normally tend to struggle for results.

    Fingers crossed we have a similar tempo in the second half or, at the very least, can get another goal or two even with the changes.

    Good signs.
