Definitely need him back for the run in, missing his goal contributions !!

Is a good player but had absolutely no competition and was guaranteed a game and you could see that in his play at times. Has alot to play for when back from injury

Even messy game's like last Saturday. Someone who can rattle one in from 25 yards or fire over those wee * ball's that cut open a low blow..

He maybe isn't a guaranteed starter but will be vital overall..

Came here to say the same.

Missing his shots from outside the box or pass from the edge of the box for others to run onto.

Already seeing what I was meaning by this.

Midfield now looks jaded and a bit off form in parts, it's why it's crucial we have guys capable of stepping in.

Looking forward to having him back.

would it be an outrageous shout for Hatate at left back when Turnbull is back fit? Interested in people's thoughts about that. I know he's played there a few times but you would then surrender his energy in the middle of the park.

Not outrageous at all. Would he offer more than Taylor? * yes, both going forward and also he has good engine tracking back, seen that in Huns game.

Will be interesting to see any uptick in performance when Turnbull and Kyogo return.

Would definitely like to see it. Refuse to believe he'd be any worse there than scales or Taylor it's just how much we would lose from midfield without him in there.

100% Hatate and our midfield are looking jaded, just like Turnbull was before his injury.

Our midfield is the engine room, the area that makes the defence look solid with clean sheets and our attack look like superstars. As soon as our midfield become jaded, our performances take a dip.

There’s plenty of room to accommodate a midfield 4 of O’Riley, Rogic, Turnbull and Hatate. In fact we need all 4 to be purring along all season.

Looking forward to seeing Turnbull back, looking sharp and adding goal contributions. Our level will go back up as a consequence.

Had the same thought. Worth a bash in an easier home game for 45 mins. Would take the inverted full-back role up a couple of levels.

    Mentioned the same last week..

Our left back's are that bad that when we've got our full quota of centre mids....I wouldn't be against it for a game here or there..

Much better as an 8 though, obviously..

Right now, its a no go but when DT back playing, would be worth a try.

Just cant see Ange changing formation and going with 4 in midfield.

I wasn’t talking about formation changes, I was talking about needing 4 starters for the 2 advanced midfield positions and needing those 4 because of the heavy workload placed on them.

Think we jumped the gun on him not getting back into the side.

Could have done with him today, at least willing to take a shot from distance.

    I think he's missed tbh.

    His stats tell that.

    I know I did.

I'd welcome back Turnbull tomorrow with how the midfield is playing right now.

The thing is, it's not an easy fix.

Many of Turnbull's performances were quite poor. He looked leggy and tired.

Still a goal threat though. And decent passer.
