David Silva

They don't really need Silva.

 

They signed Sanchez though. They'd have been better with Mata or Silva who are built the Barcelona way.

If I was a Barca fan id have much rathered Silva and Mata were in the squad than Sanchez and Fabregas as theyre better than Sanchez and they also have Thiago.

 

Sanchez is only 22, give him time to get used to the Barcelona way. I think he'll be better than Mata and every bit as good as Silva. Up until a few weeks ago nobody rated Silva as highly as the Iniesta's and Xavi's of this world now he's the best thing since sliced bread. A bit of perspective is needed.

If I was a Barca fan I'd take Cesc over Silva and Mata every time.

 

Pedro, Villa, Sanchez, Fabregas and Thiago "Superior" compared to David Silva?

Sorry but that just isn't true. The only players in the Barca side that are on the same level/above Silva are; Messi, Xavi and Iniesta.

If Silva joined Barca he would jump ahead of Pedro, Villa, Sanchez, Fabregas and Thiago in the pecking order.

Why would Barca be interested in signing £40m+ Silva when they have "Superior" players? They wouldn't.

 

Silva is nowhere near the level of Lionel Messi, that is just pure hyperbole.

 

What I meant was equal or superior to Silva, obviously Messi is better.

Think Silva's a great wee player, people are overrating him a wee bit, claiming he's up there at the top.

I was just emphasising messi is well ahead of the rest imo. As i seen some people comparing silva to him.

 

I probably would put players ahead of him but I can't be arsed thinking just now. It really depends what you're looking for.

 

Silva is excellent, but he isnt better than Fabregas, people forget too readily imo, we're talking about Fabregas, Arsenals driving force for years, he's had his injury problems, and i think thats why people have forgottten a little, cause last season he wasnt AMAZING, yet still managed 9 goals and 17 assissts in 30 odd games from midfield, he can score and assist just like silva, silva may be the better dribbler, but then Cesc has qualities at reading the game.

Fabregas is the top Assister in World football over the last 5 years in an arsenal team that have won nothing, and that stat includes Xavi, plus Cesc has had a good start to his barca career, hes a class act

i think Silva is amazing and i really like him, but i think Cesc is every bit as good, just has a diferent style

just think we have short memories sometimes

Cesc Fabregas - 8 goals and 5 assists in 14 games

Half of Fabregas' games have been from the becnh through injury....

IMO he's as good as Silva, and easily

 

Man City have also scored more goals in the league than Barcelona this season...

When we get into margins of is Silva better than Fabregas I think it's just down to personal style, they are both absolute world class quality that having one instead of the other wouldn't make much of a big difference.

Spain are lucky * tbh

Villa, Pedro, Navas, Mata, Silva, Cazorla, Iniesta, Fabregas, Xavi, Alonso, Busquets even players like Thiago, Muniain, Herrera and Martinez would probably get a game or atleast make the bench for any other national team. They have too many untouchable quality technical players who hardly ever lose possession.

 

probably excellent training and development techniques that mixes schooling with football from a young age rather than luck

 

Think he was meaning they're fortunate to have such players at their disposal which they are. They could have 2 squads which are both capable of winning the world cup, it's incredible

 

haha true, del bosque is a lucky man, but, its probs no coincedence they have so many good players
