Have to disagre. Imagine if Fabregas was English, just look at how much the spunking the English media would do over him thn. If anything he would be one of the most underated players in the epl.

You're kidding on? He would have been blew out of this world with the wanking over him if he was English but it was bad enough as it was.

Can you tell me his outstanding attributes? He is really good like I said but his growth has stunted at Arsenal. He doesn't know what kind of midfielder he is.

They play CM, Xabi Alonso in particular plays a more withdrawed role that Fabregas excelled at when he was at Arsenal until Wenger moved him further up the park. Busquets is the more defensive of the midfielders but still, Fabregas has done that job before. He started there at Arsenal.

If he was as good as it made out excuses like that wouldn't be made, Busquets and Xabi are CM, so is Cesc Fabregas.

In saying this about David Silva you will see a player that IMO surpasses him this year at Chelsea, Jaun Mata.

Might take a while to settle him in, same as Silva but they are very, very similar except Mata is faster and a bit tougher. That's what I took from it from watching Valencia.

Zola was a striker? Same kind of technical wee touches but in terms of flicks and tricks and pure goalscoring Silva can't touch Zola.

just the way he drags players out of position with eaze with his little touches 'and see's a pass before its even opened up, i wouldnt class striker as silva's only/main strong position.

I would class Silva as an attacking midfielder but I do see your point there :50:

same, but i allways thought zola was just as good playing as attacking mid as he was as a striker. he often played deep to link up play then got him self in the box, this is what brings me to the comparison. zola was/is a legend and i think silva can be too.:50:

I said to my mate last year that David Silva would be this seasons POTY, and I don't think I'll be far wrong.

A fantastic, intelligent footballer who has outstanding technical ability and creates space for himself and his team-mates. He has strolled through the last 2 games - albeit against Swansea and Bolton.

And I don't often disagree with you Devlin, but I think he is a better footballer than Mata.

I agree with the top part mate, although Luis Suarez was my tip :50:

Mata we will see, I don't think there's too much in it.

Well Silva and Suarez and my Captain and VC in Fantasy Football, so I rate them both very highly. Two of the best foreign players in England atm I'd say.

Either way, Mata is a top player who I'm looking forward to seeing more of, and will improve Chelsea.
