    There is no doubting Nasri is a top player, but he tailed off at the end of last season. He needs a move to a team who are going to win things on a regular basis, and lets face it arsenal aren't going to.

    Man City on the other hand are building one * of a team and if they can get maybe one more quality player they will be strong contenders this season. * hate the way they've gone about things though. But that's modern day football for you.

    Silva is absolute class. One of the players in the league. I think the English pundits are only now starting to realise how good he is

    Rarely watch the EPL but every time I've seen Silva I have been very impressed with him, if I did fantasy football this season then he would be my first select. Great vision and a very talanted footballer.

    I was actually saying to one of my friends the other day that it shows how superior La Liga is to the EPL when players like Silva, Aguero and Yaya come over as good, but not top bracket players, and look like world beaters.

    David Silva is the best player in the Premiership.

    They were always standout players in la liga except that leagues so lopsided towards madrid and barca players they never got the recognition they deserved.

    Silva, Aguero and Toure are very much top level players. To suggest otherwise is ridiculous.

    The only players better than them are the likes of Ronaldo, Messi, Xavi, Iniesta. I.e. the best 4 players in the world.

    Toure couldn't get a game for Barcelona, he is COMFORTABLY the best DM in England.

    Silva was a good, maybe verging on great CAM in Spain, he is the best player in the EPL.

    Aguero has a lot of potential and will score goals, as he did in Spain, but he will be a far bigger star than he would have been in Spain as the level is so much lower. Torres was the same.

    I am not taking away from these three as players, far from it, I think all three are first class, what I am saying is that the quality in the league is so much better in Spain that these players are looking like superstars now.

    If Mata comes to England you will see the same thing happen, a really good player in Spain, but will look like he's from another planet in England.

    Nah he isnt really . If he had an average game today would you be saying that? I doubt it. Opinions change very quick. But he is in the top 10 for sure.

    As for Torres look at his record for Atletico, not the best. Look at his record for Liverpool. Going on these stats it would suggest la liga is a tougher league than EPL.

    I didn't see a single second of the City game today as I was at Parkhead. I genuinely think Silva is the best player in England, I assume he was brilliant today going by your post?

    Your bit about Torres is agreeing with what I said, he looked like a decent striker in Spain, as it is a better league, and in England couldn't stop scoring.

    Was class in Valencia and has improved by playing in the prem took him a bit to settle but now he is showing that he is world class.

    He was indeed outstanding at Valencia and has been mighty impressive at Man City. The English media have a distorted view of footballers outwith their own league, despite Silva being winning World Cup and European Championship medals. For some reason this ability takes time to be recognised in the "premiership".

    Very good player who will probably be an important player for City, especially since they don't really have creative midfielder. He's exactly what Aguero and Džeko need.

    But not the best in Premiership, not even best at his club. It's a toss between Nani, Rooney and Suarez for me.

    Im biased but at his best rooney is easily the best player in the league, certainly the most complete player.
