    why cant we just make zaluska no 1 (hes good enough imo)
    cervi no 2, and then bring in a youth keeper as third?

    I did say on the player suggestion forum a few weeks ago David James would be a good signing.

    My thinking is it would sort the goalkeeping problem out for now and leave us funds to spend on other positions. There no doubt we'd get a very good season out him.

    James is a top quality goalkeeper, even at 39, 40 whatever age he is I think he would be a very smart signing.

    He is a great keeper but hes too old now and would rather let the keepers we have fight it out for the number 1 jersey. with zaluska cervi and a youth keeper should do the job :) keep the dosh and sign BELLAMY haha

    True m8 :50: watching David James over the past few years he seems to have improved his concentration. I think he'd be a cracking signing with out doubt englands best player at the WC wouldnt be hard tbh :56:

    Good point mate..Lenny seems to be stuck on at least bringing in one aged veteran to be a positive influence in the dressing room..why not have that aged lad play the position that your supposed to be better when your older. IMO I hope James is our number 1 next year.

    David James is class he is a great keeper. Better than zaluska I would say. Don't think be would want stupid wages anymore, be suprised though if other premier league teams don't come in for him
