    His age dosn't mean much for me, if we can get him on a free.

    I think he's a good goalkeeper, and a year deal with option for a second one, would mean Celtic have a pretty decent goalkeeper for no fee at all.

    He would do a good job for a season or two and would represent another shrewd bit of transfer business by Lennon. Great experience and has been a top keeper all of his career which will be invaluable to the younger guys about the team. They will see what is required to be a top pro!

    I would definitely take him for a year or two..look at Van der Sar...keepers can perform well into there late 30's early 40's and I was actually impressed with James at the World Cup..one of the only England players I can say that about.

    I think this would be a very good signing for us. He commands his box well and lets face it he is Englands No1 GK. If it was not for him in the Germany game it could have gone to double figures.

    So its a :50: from me

    The only thing that concerns me is his wages. I dont think he would have been on less than Artur and I dont think he would drop his demands. This could be the stumbling block

    Nothing against bringing James in as hes a good Keeper and hes free. But imo it has to be as no.2. James is 39 and has two years left, Zaluska at 28 should be hitting his prime shortly and could be here for the next 7 or 8 seasons. He has the ability so we should show faith in th guy or else he'll walk. He's too good a keeper to be sittin on the bench at his age now.

    artur brought in a couple of million, this guys costing nothing, if we want to strengthen the team we need to sell some of our assets.

    i'd want him maybe 2 year deal with zaluska playing in cup games
