I thought we hadn't won a game that Hooiveld has played?

 

yea i thought about it last night maybe try to pair rogne and hooiveld for next league game ?

 

Only games we've conceded goals in when hes played in the league were the Hearts game at Tynecastle (which I had forgot about, sorry)

The Kilmarnock game last season (when he was injured in the run up to the goal and had to be taken of)

the ICT with 3 at the back (when both goals were conceded after he was taken off)


2 goals conceded in 7 apperances (when hes been on the park) is a much better record than any other CB at the club.

 

Big dan can't header the ball. He's a fraudster and lives of his rep of been a big tall sweedish guy. Hooiveld should play on boxing day.

 

Fair enough. He'll get his chance and he'll have a hard job of proving himself. Any defensive mistake at the moment will be scrutinised and criticised fiercely.

 

we are getting what we paid for from the big man.... he was a free, loads of people where saying oh he will be class this and that, he is ok mabe do this season but thats it

been found wanting in the last 4-5 games really bad

just hope lennon gets people in at the back in the window and not the * wilson from forrest cause he is pish aswell

 

Think people have made their mind up about him already. Including out manager.

 

its just silly to moan about him.

the guy is quality, the problem is he has to fix the * ups of the other defenders make, he cant do 3 jobs at once..

the problem we've always had, is we dont have a defence that work as a unit e.g watch the man beside you and he watches you type thing.

if he has to fix other defenders mistakes of course it will effect his performance, unless he's a player like kaka or pele.

 

he covered our back 4 last night and tried to get everybody to raise their heads! did they give a *? did they *.

this guys nowhere near a problem.

 

i used to think the same as this but after watching last night, i've seen the fact that he is *. gives the ball away 10 yds in front of him with an awful pass instead of just clearing the lines, doesn't communicate, doesn't command the box at all, can't head the ball. these are all deficiencies he has apart from trying to help out the other * defenders. he's * himself

 

Majstorovic is a dud. I have been saying it for ages on here but it appears to have fallen on deaf ears. You hear Big Dan this and Big Dan that from all his apologists. The guy is a fucken dud and he is costing us big time every game at the back.

 

I thought he also saved us last night when keeper was rounded and killy striker was just rolling ball into net when Dan got it clear ( or did I miss that?). It is blatently obvious teams know to attack Celtic rown Cha's flank as he leaves a massive gap which makesiit difficult to defend for the central two.

On the plus side, he's twice the player Hooiveld is. No wonder Loovens' form dipped playing with these guys and before anyone starts, I'm not a fan of his either.

McManus and Caldwell were really good players compared with this lot and I'm being serious.

 

mcmanus and caldwell were only seen to be successful because they had adequate fullbacks and two deep sitting midfielders to protect them. when mogga came in trying to play barca football, they were exposed to the world and their deficiencies in defence were visible to all

 

If Big Maj wasn't built like a bouncer and possessed a head of flowing hair, he would have been rightly hounded out on the back of his recent performances.

For a 33 year old he is positionally naive. He gets sucked out of position and has no pace to get himself back. His headers never go where they should aka up the other end of the field. As has been mentioned, his distribution makes McManus' passing look like Pirlo.

How this guy has garnered a cult following is beyond me.

Needs to be replaced if we are to have any chance of clawing back points dropped already.
