the problem for him is everyone is looking for him to be the leader and take mistakes on board which he is doing but maybe hes taking too much on board himself . Having said that we really really do need to scrap this fkn zonal marking as its killing us

 

1/ still getting used to our * spl

2/ does not have the right support beside him

3/ looks very nervous at times why i dont know

stability at the back is what we need hopefully Lenny sorts this out

very much agree with this, add in that he has played every game club and country this season, problem is he tries to do everything himself, he runs so much, he hasnt got a decent cb so i think he finds he needs to do most of the work himself, judge him at the end of the season, this wee breakw ould of done him good though

 

Hot and cold for me. Played great agaisnt St Johnstone but has played very shakey in many games. DU, ICT, Huns and Hearts to name a few.
I do believe that we could see the best of him with a reliable partner. But for a guy of his size he doesn't seem to use it to his advantage. Looks uneasy on the ball, doesn't dominate in the air as mcuh as he should and when he does win a header it seems aimless, most of the time goes 15 yards upwards rather than out the way.

 

if you are going by this though there are 3 that need replaced before him, sometimes i think we are never going to find a good CB again

 

Been playing 3 different roles.

Honestly the defence is so * he has to cover the other cb and the rb.
As much as I like rogne and think he has a future-he is not ready.

We need a cb of similar stature to bog maj so he can get on with his own game.

That said though he has been solely culpible for some goals but right now I'm putting that down to the overall unit at the back being disjointed.

Hopefully we see a better player if paired with a better cb.

 

it's no wonder that he has looked nervous. Puyol would look nervous playing alongside some of our defenders.
Maj is a solid defender and has been let down by his team mates. Get someone decent alongside him and let them form a regular partnership. He has made a couple of errors, but he has also been a saviour at times. Get a pacy, footballing CB alongside him and we will see what a good player he is.

NO CENTRE HALF IN THE WORLD can do that successfully.

Majstorovic just hasnt got it. panics way too easily to be a decent centrehalf. AEK werent stupid to get rid of him on a free.

in saying all that he tries hard enough it's just a pity he's a comlete an utter dud.

 

Nonsence !! He is just the one who is making all the others very nervous, because he looks like doing a lot but just doesnt!! Always stops acting on the supreme moments!! Always trying to point to other players!! Always making the wrong decisions which make it hard for his teammates (think about the ball at Rogne....) and........always the first who gratulates the man who scores and by doing so showing the manager how good and loyal he is......For me it is all fake!!
In Dutch newspapers it is told (Celtic is Loovens kwijt met knieblessure - SoccerNews.NL) that he can leave too in january and for me that is the only right thing to do!

 

I feel we need 2 good centre halves with rogne and Maj as decent back ups,while loovens and jos should be sold.I would prefer us to sign British or British based players cos when it comes to defending they are more solid

Keep Rogne, Maj and Emilio

And spend some decent money on our back 4!

I think if majstorovic was in the rangers defence he would look immense. This guy has had some * playing beside him and no rock of a defensive midfielder in front of him. I know he has been to blame for some goals this season but if he has an experienced head beside him at center back who has the ability to defend then as a result majstorovic will look better.

 

Big Dan is an honest player but will always get found wanting against any real pace and quality. He was never going to be the answer to our problems in defense.

 

He's decent at what he does but what he does is push up against their strikers and win the high ball or cross, he has no pace and Celtic desperately need a fast CB because of the high line we play, otherwise we will be ripped apart through the middle by teams with pace.

 

I think the stick he is getting is coming from our previous 2 games against Dundee Utd and Inverness, he's decent but we need someone else in to partner him, that's a must imo.

 

Hadnt seen much of him before he came to Celtic, but I thought him playing for Sweden he would be much better than he is, I can honestly say I am a bit dissapointed.
