Danny's confidence has been insanely instable this season no doubt.. but he has become a fans boxing bag to, so all the stick he get is to be honest a little bit unfair.. An example is the match thread vs St. Mirren, as fast as dan touched the ball there was like 20 comments how pish he is, and when Kelvin Wilson nearly scored a Og and was taken apart by mirrens attackers at some points, there was NONE comments at all.. im not saying this wearing a swedish viking helmet its just the truth and you all know it! lets support the big man instead of booing him when he touching the ball and we might get a organised defence cus we will NOT get a new cb this window.

Very true, nottingham forest are my second team so ive seen quite a bit of him. He is good but not the new maldini that some celtic fans would have you believe

He was mince last season too, so I don't put it down to confidence. No pace, no awareness and an uncanny lack of ability to header a ball for a player so tall.

all our defenders are pretty average....

Wilson is the best of a bad lot.... Charlie has played a few good games but he's hyped up more than Wilson is. Charlie ain't better than Wilson.

    in my opinion he is.:celt_2:

charlie would be my first name down in that position, atleast he's had a few good games there unlike any other CB we have.

If it was majstorovic that did that blunder against motherwell he would be branded * and "not fit to wear the celtic jersey ever again"

I like Big charlie but all defenders will eventually concede goals

Charlie is a bit too prone to blunders, he's made less at CB than LB. but over a season I think he would cost us a few goals and probably a few points

same with wilsons near own goal yesterday, im just saying he's not the player that people hyped him up to be as he's no better than we have already. take his pace away and he's below average.

I've made my feelings about Maj clear for a long time now. I initially had reservations about his judgement and positioning and now those reservations are out and out terror when he's on the pitch. I'd like to see Charlie and Kelvin get an extended run together. I think Lenny needs to sit a pairing down and say "barring injury, you guys are going to play together for the next few games to see how you do". Give them some confidence that they're going to get the opportunity to learn to play alongside each other without getting the hook at the first mistake. I think big Dan has made enough mistakes to justfiy watching from the bench for a while. Get Charlie and Kelvin together, Wilson and Matthews on the wings and let the four of them get some gametime together.

i look at it from all angles and still come up with the same result

our defence is pish and we need better, after all these years and yip still no further
    forward

no point blaming the players, most of them are from a five pound box of crackers

you get what you pay for, need to look at the higher money men

This is what we thought after the farce in Sion but there he was, as bold as ever, in defence on Sunday.

True and when he does let it bounce he *' misjudges it and then has to make last gasp tackles or hits to make a foul.

Doesn't incur confidence in the rest of the defence in my opinion when you see another player coninually making *-ups.

I personally think Mark Wilson should take his place - he's a decent CD and that way Cha can still play on the right. Surely even Wanyama would be better than Majstorovic.

Yeh I know. I'm all for second chances and all but how many times has he just been caught out of position and caught for pace. Yeh ok he's 34 now BUT because players start lacking pace when they get older he should become more positionally aware to make up for his pace but his positioning is guff hence the amount of last minute tackles on players.

If he plays against the huns then with Jellyfish and Gaysmith being the ultimate divers that they are he will be a complete liability :38:

Exactly pace is what makes Wilson a decent player he needs to be paired with someone like Rogne or Maj.
