I think we would struggle to find an option that wasn't better than Maj. I understand your point but you're out of your mind if you think we can't do better then Maj.

 

I think we should free him/pay him off to a Swedish division 3 team or whatever. I'd rather give one of the youths a go if we're short.

 

I feel quite sorry for him. he seems to be the new whipping boy. He is definitely out of form, but last year he was the only central defender we had who even remotely looked the part.

Give him a couple more weeks and see if his form improves, before making any decisions on replacements from the current squad. If Lenny can find someone of a better quality before the end of the window, then fine, but if not, Wilson and big Dan are still the best central defensive partnership we have.

I'd rather see Lewis Toshney be given a chance.

 

so what happens when toshney makes a bad tackle? do we look at our under 18's?

I am certainly not saying that purely based on tonight only my friend. Big dan is questionable at best but still better than some of the oafs we have at the back. Just would like to see toshney more that's all

 

I am a fan of big Dan, thought he came in last season and really settled our defence down. This season though he seems to have aged 5 years and suddenly looks a lot more vulnerable.

This is gonna be a tough one for him to pull through on.

Tell you what he is alot better than McManus, Loovens, Cadwell, O'dea and the other * we had to endure. He is prone to a mistake but hes ok.

 

I don't think it'll be too long before he's off out the door. Rogne may come back into the team very soon and take the other centre back slot alongside either Wilson or Mulgrew and if he stays injury free, Maj will be hard pushed to find his way back into the first team.

 

Mulgrew, K Wilson for centre backs. Maj was a disaster waiting to happen tonight, I just knew it.

Caldwell and McManus were twice the players Majstorovic is. Loovens and O'Dea are * too but still look like Beckenbauer and Baresi compared to this *.

 

this big useless * is a liability in the team. people on here blaming lennon. maj got sent off and gives away a peno after a few minutes and leaves the team with an uphill battle. i firmly believe if we had eleven players for the 90 minutes we would be in europe. id rather anyone but him starting. o dea any day he at least has experience in the champions league. there was no need for him to lunge in like that as well

I don't have any animosity or anything toward him. Seems like a good guy and I think he genuinely likes the club but he really can't stay. Whenever he's on the ball or going in for a tackle you're just expecting something to go wrong and it all too often does.
